Out with the old, in with the new
So a New Year has just begun and of course many are speculating as to what 2010 will bring? At Openhand we don't believe in prophecy because the moment shapes according to the thoughts, emotions and choices we each express in the moment. However, we can look at movements of energy and see where the trend appears to be taking us. Tuning in during meditation yesterday, I was given the knowing "Three Big Years". I have the strong feeling that 2010, 2011 and 2012 are going to be monumental in terms of the shift of planetary and human consciousness. I believe strongly that there are no better times than these to really tune in, peel back the layers of limitation and truly expand our consciousness...

Speculation
There's oodles of speculation as to what's going to happen as we build up to the so called critical time of winter solstice in 2012. Will California and the rest of the world simply slide into the sea? Will the world come to an end? or at the other end of the spectrum, will we all ascend in a magical puff of smoke?

Well I guess in a universe of infinite possibility all of these things could at some point happen (just as we could discover God to be an old man with a white beard sitting on a cloud in the heavens!). To me, however, according to how I experience our absolute authentic reality at the moment, none of these things are going to happen. They're just based on hype, disinformation and speculation.

However, what is most definitely NOT based on speculation is the tremendous shift in human and planetary consciousness that is taking place right now, all around us, to people in all walks of life.

Both Trinity and myself are absolutely blessed to be working with Openhand and meeting countless wonderful people from many varied backgrounds from all over the world. Frequently, these are people that you wouldn't call 'spiritual' and have no apparent history in spiritual matters. They have ordinary jobs in ordinary places with everyday issues to resolve. Issues with family, friends, careers, partners. You know the ones don't you?!

Infinite interconnectivity
Yet we're feeling something deep inside ourselves. We're waking up quickly to the interconnectivity of life itself. And we're not stopping there either. We're realising that each moment in our lives has a destined flow, an energetic stream shaping every moment, and when we read the deeper meaning and align with that flow, the moment suddenly expands from an apparently random, separate sequence of incidents, to a magical harmony of magic, mystery and suspense.

We're discovering that a consciousness of unimaginable benevolence is guiding us forwards through life's circumstances and showing us how every moment has a deeper significance, a much deeper meaning. We're seeing how the moment is continually shaping to reveal something about ourelves; how we can peel away that which limits us and unfold a more majestic, higher, altruistic, loving and above all else, a more authentic way of being.

It's as if we each have our own personal team of guardian angels whose sole purpose in life is to love us unconditionally and aid us in our development. When our purpose in life switches from trying (and often failing) to shape the external world in some 'better' way - a new job, a new house, a new partner for example - and instead going inside, following higher guidance and unfolding a new way of being, then our lives become absolutely magical.

Finally we stop chasing our tails on this never ending merry-go-round and discover the true game, the true meaning of life, the true reality.

Acceleration of consciousness
So people everywhere are waking up to this and they're doing it quickly. This acceleration of consciousness is accelerating. We're realising the game is not about winning or loosing, it's about how we're being whilst we're playing. And not only this, it's that the best moves we make arise naturally because of how we're being.

Now sometimes when I say to people "focus on being not doing" there can be a little confusion, "does that mean I literally do nothing?" Far from it! For most, our path is not to sit on some mountain top meditating. No, we are here in the Matrix for a reason. It is our job to shine the light for others.

Make no mistake, the next three years will be monumental. Gaia is completing a movement into the 5th Dimension - at least the centre of her consciousness will focus there and there is a big centering of energy there. So when this happens, will the world come to and end here in the 3rd? No, not at all. It's also highly likely that we won't witness powerful moves of energy on the surface. Unless that is, they're man-made to create fear and control!

On the surface, this shift is likely to be fairly gentle. Yes, Gaia is warming up (at least in my book), yes key resources are beginning to dwindle and yes we are going to see more turbulent weather patterns, but things are likely to stay fairly stable on the surface. Big changes are happening but they're not instantaneous.

The key changes then will be 'under the surface' within consciousness. In contrast, these shifts will be literally earth shattering. Ask anyone who has truly stepped onto the path what the effect can be on their lives. Not those who are still trying to shape and manifest reality in some way (because they're still locked in the matrix), ask those who are really changing from the inside.

On the outside things may look similar, however we're seeing and experiencing reality in a whole new and different way. Life will never be the same again. Make no mistake, the next three years offer a major opportunity to really discover who and what you are. The mirror on the wall is going to get increasingly focused and clear. The guidance will become increasingly unequivocal. Gaia may change gently but because society is so out of tune with her, our shifts of consciousness are likely to effect society - the matrix in which we live - greatly. It may not fall apart completely, yet, but we are likely to see growing fractions within it's foundations.

Make hay whilst the sun shines
These changes of course will be challenging but within every challenge is an opportunity. Indeed, in the coming three years, opportunities will be abound. Life will be abundant with them. We're being offered the opportunity of great change in the nature of who we are and how we live our lives.

So make hay whilst the sun shines! Take this opportunity by the horns because opportunities as powerful as these don't always come our way. Are you ready to make that commitment to truth? To your own truth and nobody else's? Are you ready to be profoundly self honest to yourself and the world about your true feelings? Are you ready to make those choices that serve yours and the higher good? If you are, then without a shadow of doubt, your life will change practically beyond recognition in the next three years.

Personally I see it kind of like enrolling on a new University degree and I'm positively brimming with joy at the development opportunity I know is on offer.
