I have the feeling sometimes that when we speak of the economy here at Openhand, there's a kind of 'glazing over' of weary eyes... "What's this got to do with our spirituality?" I hear you ask, "What's this got to do with our bright new dawn?" In a word, it has EVERYTHING to do with it. Every event reveals a hidden code guiding us to the truth; nuggets of gold revealing the true path to follow. So if you need to prop up slightly heavy eye-lids please do so and tune in for a few moments. It could be vitally important for your spiritual future...

The workers revolt
Right now, all across Europe, workers are revolting against government austerity cuts. From Greece, to Germany, France and Spain, people in their thousands are showing in no uncertain terms their discontent. Why is this happening? What's going on?

The world governments solution to the Credit Crunch of simply printing more money has gone hopelessly awry. As if it ever could really work. As a result we have spiraling food and energy prices and governments everywhere needing to drastically cut costs. Except electorates are not letting them. Too many people are still addicted to the gravy train they hope will keep on steaming.

Now that train is heading towards a tunnel. Let's not be fooled by a few moments of hyper inflationary sunshine. It may appear as if we're emerging from economic difficulty at the moment, but the double dipper is simply reaching a temporary high before diving once more.

The perfect storm
This time, when it plunges, there will be no turning back. World economies are heading for the perfect storm. As economic indicators present themselves everywhere, we're looking at increased credit tightness in 2011 and especially 2012 (interesting timing!), just when spiraling prices of energy and food will reach their zenith.

Yes this is perfection indeed. The roller coaster called "Industrial Consumerism" needs to be derailed that more people can step off the track and reconnect with their soul. It's a yearning deep inside millions of us and that yearning is flowing strongly outwards and shaping the field.

Always darkest before the dawn
Yes we ARE influencing our outer world in the most powerful way. The problem right now is that awakened people everywhere are getting a little confused by what they're seeing.

Here at Openhand we're conducting Gateway Seminars around the world helping people make sense of what's going on. Time and again I'm asked by audiences "so if this is a powerful new dawn for humanity, why does it appear to be getting darker?"

My response is... "it's always darkest just before the dawn". As our expanding conscious reaches outwards, we're stirring and breaking up the denser energies just like we stir up the silted lining of a river bed, long crusted and compacted. But you have to stir up the silt if you're to get to the buried treasure. That's why its looking so cloudy and dense in the outer world right now.

Crystal Clear Clarity
Let us be absolutely crystal clear. The matrix in which we live serves NOBODY, not even the ruling elite and super rich. It has always been dehumanising and destructive of compassionate, sentient life everywhere. It has always trodden under foot the gentle petals of spiritual softness.

But Benevolent Consciousness is deeply enduring. There's an ancient eastern saying... "When two opposing forces meet, it is always the one that best knows how to yield that will win the day". Yes, if you want to break something, you must first let it succeed.

So gentle souls everywhere have yielded openly before the beast - a dinosaur relic that has feasted to bursting. Now the time has come for it to bite the dust and indeed it will. Just as Gaia centers in the higher consciousness of the new paradigm in 2012, the old world order is cracking apart at the seams.

Letting the veils fall
So yes we're moving into a period of profound change. Yes that change is going to be tempestuous and yes, we're going to see a good deal of darkness before it finally dawns.

The most important thing awakening people can do now (in my humble opinion), is peel away the remaining veils; to look at the world the way it really is; to finally realise that this system that has thus far sustained us is falling apart and we can no longer rely on it.

Yes, many of our current jobs and livelihoods are going to vapourise and the sooner we deal with the truth the better. We can't keep letting the wool veil our eyes. The Titanic is holed beneath the water line and its high time we launched the life boats.

The time is now
That's why we've introduced our Five Gateways Workshop at this critical juncture. Quite simply, we believe it to be the blue print for our spiritual evolution; the biblical treasure map that's been with us for thousands of years yet buried in eons of distortion and disinformation. The route map has the power to lead the way through the darkness, to see reality from an entirely new perspective and let true sense of self create the lives we were always destined to live.

The time has really come. These changes we're witnessing on the TV, in the Newspapers, on the internet but most important of all, in our hearts, are REALLY happening. Lets not sleep walk onwards, the dream - the nightmare - is ending. Let's wake up to reality, discover who we really are and re-engage with our true path in life - that one guided not by the mind, but by the soul.

It's time to dust off the pages of history and find the true meaning in the buried code; the five expansion of consciousness - the Five Gateways - leading to our bright new beginning.

The time is now. There is no other time!
