"The Venus Express" was launched 2yrs ago; its a probe sent to Venus to study its climatic history. Why is Venus so important for us to take note? Well it is the closest planet to Earth in terms of its distance from the Sun, its mass, radius, density and chemical composition. Higher Consciousness compelled me to take note when images and results started to be processed from the probe. Venus, once teeming with life, underwent a dramatic shift in its climate leading to an atmosphere clogged with carbon dioxide resulting in the loss of its oceans and a runaway greenhouse effect that gave rise to severe global warming. Perhaps then, Venus is providing us a vision of a possible future?...

When I look around me at what is going on across our planet, I see all the prerequisites for a radical upheaval in the living conditions here. Simply take a browse through other articles in our "the clock is ticking" section and you'll see countless examples of how mankind appears to be accelerating our precarious standing in relation to our ecosystems and environment. Is it any wonder that three species of creature are leaving this planet every hour?

When I tune into the highest levels of Benevolent Consciousness, when I see past the distortions of a limiting ego, when I let go of the dreams and ideals that I would like to see happen, I am left with the plain, unadulterated truth - a fierce but beautiful wisdom. I can feel in every cell of my being that the time left for life on the surface of our planet (in this dimensional realm) is quite limited. We no longer have millennia to sort out our problems, blockages and karma. Time is running out. I believe we have perhaps just a few more life times to complete the journey our soul is meant to in this plane before it becomes uninhabitable.

In other words, there is a limited window of opportunity for us to let go of our attachments to the external drama, unravel the inner restrictions that constrain our consciousness and unfold into 5th Dimensional Realm that is the New World (perhaps more appropriately "Renewed World").

So how do we unravel these restrictions? To me meditation is the key but I want to be really clear what I mean by that. It is not necessarily taking oneself off to some reclusive mountain top retreat, or absconding from society. Meditation is becoming the observer of ourselves in and through all experiences. In being the observer we watch our motivations for making the choices we do and notice where we are still identifying with the drama.

Nowhere does the mirror of reality reflect more strongly than in our relationships - especially our closest ones. So for example, we may have the responsibility for bringing up children; are we able to hold that responsibility lightly? Can we watch them grow, make their choices, especially their mistakes and still ever-so-lightly guide the tiller without too much interference? Can we feel their pain of constriction and not get sucked into it ourselves? We are each here to self realise; even the most committed parent cannot realise for their children.

The same can be said for partners. We may love them dearly but it is not our responsibility for the choices they make or the path they follow.

All we can do is what we're given to do - to find the most complete, most beautiful, most authentic expression of ourselves possible. Then we walk the path shining a light for others to do the same. They may not walk it, but that is there choice not ours.

It is clear to me that not everyone is going to walk the path into the higher paradigm. In fact if the current trends are anything to go by, it may only be a small number. I feel Benevolent Consciousness speaking to us loudly through the synchronistic patterning of all life - like the images coming back from Venus now. To me, its saying this...

"Time is running out. Let go of attachment to the external drama. Go inwards with profound self honesty and unravel the restrictions limiting your expansion into the higher paradigm. A miraculous new dawn awaits you - but you have to choose it and choose it soon!"
