Taking the next step
There is a point that we reach in our journey when we feel an unmistakable pull to follow the path of the soul. By listening with self-honesty, we know exactly what step to take in each moment - even though at times we may only seem to know at the instant just before each foot touches the ground. It may take us entirely against the grain of our current life circumstances. It will usually present all kinds of challenges, shaking up our world in order that we may evolve an entirely new, higher harmony...

If we truly follow the path of the soul, then whatever happens, we will feel a deep peace within that makes it impossible to do anything else other than that which is divinely given.

This poem by Mary Oliver captures this magical stage in our journey of evolution so well. I dedicate it to all our fellow souls finding the courage and commitment to 'walk the path'. Keep flowing!

what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice
though the whole house
began to tremble...
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
"Mend my life!"
each voice cried.

You knew what you had to do,
