If we are the ocean, then the fish are our thoughts. The net is the doorway between different worlds. How easy it is to forget that we are the ocean and instead think that we are the fish.
When we remember with every cell of our being who we truly are, then we fall effortlessly through the net, into the infinite oceanic mind.
It is here that we infuse with the universal library of all knowing. It is here that we are immersed with sacred remembrance of the divine. Like water through a net, we leave behind anything that holds us back and experience liberation. The illusion is shattered.
We can still return to the 'net' to help others remember who they truly are, although as the ocean, we are no longer confined to the boundaries.

Hi Trin
Having had a deeply profound meditation on the recent summer Openhand retreat which started in the depths of the ocean, I find it no surprise to have stumbled across your musings of the ocean here.
Beautiful words indeed and how true. When every molecule of my body dissolves into the universe as whole it is as if I have transcended any net and become one with a divine consciousness and wisdom as old as time itself. Even the waves of water feel as waves of energy washing over my soul. Aaaah.
