The great GMO rebellion
People taking a stand for food purity.
People have been speaking out against genetically modified food for many years and now it's having a big impact. A main proponent - Monsanto - has been caused to abandon GMO (genetically modified organism) implantation in a number of key countries. If you weren't aware of the GMO problem, you might like to investigate the stories of literally thousands of Indian farmers who've committed suicide because of the damage GMO implantation has caused. The evidence is stacking up, GMO pollutes land, destroys the natural environment and damages lives. Thankfully the expansion of human consciousness is sending positive evolutionary ripples through all aspects of society: the industrial consumer matrix is steadily being unwound...
I've been following the story of the Indian farmers for some years now. It's a tragic, heart-breaking one. Companies like Monsanto have sold GMO grain to replace the naturally grown ones typically used. The promise has been of increased crop yields. In some cases this may well have happened, however generally, the crop yields have declined rather than increased.
Importantly, the farmers mostly had to borrow money in order to pay for the grain licences and it seems they were generally not aware the GMO crops had been purposefully engineered so as to render them non-reproductive. In other words, the farmers have to keep buying new grain year in year out.
This has bankrupted many of the poorest people in India. And literally thousands have taken the only way out they felt possible - they've actually ingested the very toxins they were sold. An excruciating death indeed, which seems to me like the ultimate protest.
This protest has certainly not fallen on deaf ears. Now countries across the world are rejecting GMO crops. Recently 233 consumer and farmer groups in 26 countries have joined the “Definitive Global Rejection of GM Wheat” statement to stop the commercialisation of genetically modifified wheat and remind the biotechnology corporation Monsanto that such practice is unacceptable to farmers and consumers.
Indeed countries in Europe and across the world are now progressively rejecting GMO. It's a positive sign indeed and just goes to show, that we are a people are definitely not powerless - anything but. I'd say in unjust situations like this, we just need to keep bringing our attention to them, feeling them, exploring them, no matter how uncomfortable. Then ultimately the truth will out. It is inevitable. Nothing can stop it. The very matrix itself - which has been controlling humanity for eons - is beginning to unwind.
Personally I find this positively inspirational!
Chris
PS - what are your thoughts on the importance of food purity?
Remember, sharing helps us ground the new consciousness and send ripples flowing outwards - that's the true power that the awakening movement has. Let's use it with gusto!...

See you later Monsanto
That's awesome, I find the likes of what companies like Monsanto are doing hard to digest (no pun untended).
I really feel for the farmers that are effectively forced to have to use GM crops. In a lot of cases those that have not wanted to grow GM crops have had theirs cross contaminated, and then the likes of Monsanto have sued them for growing them without paying for their seeds, Unbelievable!
This feels like a huge stance towards not accepting this form of control and manipulation, very inspiring to be a part of.
David
Good news for Gaia and us !
The widespread use of GM crops seemed nailed on, not so
long ago !
This is a really encouraging change of direction.
looking forward to more changes like this.

Food and related problems :)
I have a bit different view on this case (with suicide GMO farmers).
While there is no doubt that organisations like Monsanto should be held to account for their doings, but I personally don't see anybody as their victims, but rather as people to whom their own weakness was shown. And I also disagree that their actions were actions of protest, but again, actions of despair.
I don't judge, I am only pointing that we are all being tested this way or another all the time and being brought to make the inner decisions and choices and then take responsibility for these choices. They didn't. They didn't take the responsibility. Suicide is an easy way out. Staying and dealing is tough. But I am speaking from my experience what suicide is like. I don't know what it was for them.
So for me there are no victims. Nobody put a gun to their heads: seed or die. They wanted more crop? They didn't ask what is that, what they are buying actually and what they are going to grow. So... ignorance is not always a blessing.
Now... no doubt that the farmers and GMO distributors are not the only ones who are responsible, I would say they are the least responsible. It is the average consumer who is responsible the most, in my view.
If we don't buy, they don't sell, they don't seed and don't produce. They are here to serve US and our demands.
But humans are greedy, they want to take more if they can, even if they don't really need it (generalising roughly) and most of them suffer from different forms of gluttony, eat too much and enjoy food too much, in an unnatural way (I can definitely understand that).
So in order to supply that much food, you have to 'modify', protect from insects, etc. You can't feed them all by growing naturally.
Then the question is why they eat so much? One of the reasons, as I see it, it is a habit. This is how we are used to get energy, most of people don't know there are ways to refuel the system without food. They are depleted, tired. Another reason is that they spend most of energy on things that don't give energy back, but deenergising, like chatting (I do that sometimes, I know
), like putting energy to look good, etc etc. Btw, I've read in Berne's book (psychoanalysis) that the body consumes most energy not to express, but to SUPPRESS impulses or natural expressions.
And also, the infinite loop is that the food itself is such that it takes too much energy to digest it and then clean the body from all the toxins in it. Also, another important point is the relation between nutrients, calories and energy needed to process the food. If the food is poor in nutrients, then again, even if there are more than enough calories, the body demands more food.
What I find useful is internet. Now you can't say I didn't know. It is all there. All you have to do is ask. People used to work hard to make clothes for themselves, to grow food, to have basic things. Now they have it on the plate, so the least that can be done is asking: where is it coming from?
So the purity of food is important to me, just as the purity of anything and everything. But the thing is that it starts with the purity of our hearts and minds.
And I believe that all these processes around are just reflecting this inner collective process. We ask, we find out, we know, we share, we learn and we change.
Being ignorant or unaware
Yulia - your mail sounds really cold hearted!
You know, sometimes people make the best choices they can after being lied to and then controlled and manipulated (as in the case of these people who have been conned by the GMO industry). I imagine that a lot of these people have very simple lives and would not understand what they were getting into. There is a difference between ignorance (which means to intentionally IGNORE) and being duped (which refers to being totally UNAWARE of). Perhaps some of these people can't even read, even if they did have access to the internet.
Controlling food
I woke up to something called the codex alimentarius a few months back, and for a while I wished I was never led to finding out such monstrous information.
Perhaps I was ready to assimilate these terrifying facts. It was like waking up to a kind of energetic World war 3 and to discover that some of the poisons in the herbicides have been used in the last century, well enough said!
For a good while, I was totally put off by food in general and very downhearted, feeling everything had become poison and that somehow we are innocently co-creating it for means of survival by buying foods that perhaps we know nothing about. (but that was fear mode). It was a wake up & I felt I could not escape its reality. It is only recently, that I have been eating more normal.
For many years, I have eaten organic and knowing that there were dangerous pesticides on food was simply enough for me to know. I never looked further into it. Knowing was enough! There were many times that when I bought organic, I sensed and felt how true is this? Am I being conned? Really who and what can we truly trust? Are the soya beans I buy GM foods , just perhaps do not have the label? And then I found out that indeed my instinct was right in that there are certain organic food criteria standards that must be met, so how do we know that everything is a 100% organic? It must be safer, it tastes safer at least!….. And I find local farmers are also honest enough to admit the organic criterion, which unravels a lot of misinformation that I was led to believe, that many may still believe!
It’s so tempting to just use the local supermarket in a busy lifestyle or with large families. Myself I am trying to narrow by food shopping to specific places now.I recently discovered that Sainsbury and Waitrose sell bellaverde broccoli a flagship of Monsanto food.
For me, this article today moves and pokes me in that this does not simply affect the unfortunate farmers in these countries but also has a direct effect on us!. It’s not just about food- it’s about the right to live and breath on mother earth !We (as them) should be able to control what we eat and how we live in alignment to mother earth, instead of being controlled by greedy corporations. Behind the scene there surely is a consciousness, revolving around manipulation, control and money with little regard for human sentient life and animals and plants within the eco –system. It appears that it is war for those farmers, eliminating communities, families and destroying the bio-diversity causing deaths, poverty and destruction. Not only are those farmers robbed of their independence’, for their land and communities but also over 100,000 farmers have to leave their rural areas to live in urban slums. Very young children have to walk fields of contamination becoming sick in order to help their families means of self terminating seeds.. Farmers loose their ducks from the poisoned waters from the floods-in turn they are enslaved and struggling simply to survive. I am speaking about the smaller farmers (who are not making money for anyone other than their families and communities)-where the GMO crop can not even co-exist within these, and blamed for acts they have not done. And morever these farmers are born into it, they often don’t have the spoilt luxury to choose where to live.
So, what can we trust ? My overall feeling from reading the article is a positive one, it does seem like light is beginning to shine through as people are standing up to it.
It’s time to return to mother Goddess food, grow our own food, but then how can we trust the seeds are not tampered with? How do we know what’s true ? It just is so unnatural to create foods for mass production in a laboratory by greedy corporations who enslave human rights and force them into compliance which destroys their livihood with little regard for humanity, nature and pure life energy on the planet…….It’s all one, we are all connected.
Thank-you for the article. It is inspiring. A few months back I would have read it and thought… What’s he talking about, what’s this ?
WE can choose love or we can choose fear. I have the deepest respect for those suffering people, because I surely doubt my strength in these circumstances! This is what my personal message was sent to me from the cosmos.
gardens of love
One of the best ways to avoid the gmo foods, local farmers markets, ask the people that grow your food. Better yet, grow your own food. The best part you get to love your plants, your outside, you chose what plants to harvest when. Even in a city a planter with a tomato plant takes almost no room. Please remember to grow more than you need, make friends. The taste will surprise you. Oh I almost forgot ,you can dip your thumb in paint. Have fun, take no part in their food game.
Intellectual enlightenment
Thanks for all the comments guys.
Coming back to something Yulia was talking about: certainly one of the main themes we speak of on Openhand is "how everything is a lesson, an experience from which to learn, grow and evolve". So in this sense, there is nothing 'good' nor 'bad'. We can look at what companies like Monsanto have done to the earth and realise that they are simply the 'out-picturing' of something we all contain within at some level - the karma of manipulation and control.
Yet just because that is a part of us, doesn't mean that once we wake up, we shouldn't move beyond that and naturally strive for a 'better' way - and by 'better' I mean a more aligned way, moving towards a higher energetic harmony.
And neither should it stop us from feeling compassion for those who might not be so awake nor informed. In my observation, compassion is a naturally arising phenomenon when I get my mind out of the way - even the awakening mind that says "everything is okay".
And here duality is a fascinating paradox to unravel within oneself. First we work to release attachment to an outcome - any outcome. In which case we're expressing our absoluteness.
But here's the point of the paradox, once you touch absoluteness - I mean really touch it inside - then the soul is fully liberated to flow with increasing strength into the separation. In which case, events and circumstances really do matter. There is a part to be played within the drama and there's an invitation to be fully engaged and immersed within that.
I find the part my soul wants to play, is to unravel such injustice with great gusto. It feels right and aligned. And when I contemplate these poor farmers and their families, it gives me so much heart felt pain, that I could scream. I know their pain and feel it as my own. I'm not attached, but being truly non-attached means to totally honour aswell.
Otherwise our enlightenment is merely intellectual enlightenment.

Hidden magic
As I've been in India while I found out this terrible story, it has been an intriguing question for me, how to pass this information on? Here in India, with so many states have their own language and different alphabets, even Indians can't necessarily talk to each other unless they have either Hindi or English, and the more rural the location, the more scarce are people who speak these common languages,
I realised the people I buy my fruit and veg from may know only a few numbers in my language, enough to tell me the price, or maybe not even that, even in quite bustling towns. In my limited experience of rural districts, the people may have a simple dwelling, which contains no more than a few items of clothing and a few cooking pots, over a dung fire, and possibly some sleeping mats or a string bed. Closer to a town they they may have electricity and one or two cooking rings. But still no furniture and no internet, and mainly adults who can't read..
I can see how easy it would be to tell people about "magic" seeds able to resist pests, and how that appeals in a country steeped in mysticism. Things here are passed on by word of mouth, and that's a simple and alluring message used by the GM sales people that were sent to the farming areas. Is there going to be any such organised distribution of facts about the reality of the experience?
What then even of the concept GM, genetically modified? The words are quite meaningless to someone without a concept of what a gene is or who has never seen a laboratory. How about explaining manipulating things you can't see with the naked eye? I've found that even talking about these concepts in towns, where people do have TV and internet, it can still be quite quite bewildering for them. And what about the well educated? They have often swallowed the propaganda line of "without GM we won't be able to feed everybody"
Then yesterday in the market - quite a wonderful sight a large 10kg bag of wholewheat flour stamped with "Non GM wheat". Nice for me, because I can read it.
The things I love most about India are the unmodernised and simple ways of life and the very noticeable way that people share or give their food and water to a stranger without hesitation. My heart goes out to these simple farming families who do back breaking work in the beating sun day after day, who got caught up in a sales drive from a world far beyond their imaginations, only to be stricken with a horror too great to bear as the outcome of their toil is irreparable debt and bare fields.
I'm off to find better ways of exposing the GM seeds that won't grow any seeds that the farmers can replant. The unwanted hidden magic the salesmen don't mention.
Lesley
Nestle
Thanks Lesley for a closer perspective on the issue. I feel as strongly about companies like Nestle, persuading women in the poorest communities that baby formula (for milk) is 'healthier' or better for their babies than breastmilk. The thousands of babies that have died from formula mixed with dirty water or made up wrongly because the instructions aren't in a language understood by the users, not to mention the actual financial cost to the families. The 'Nestle boycott' has been going for over 30 years by people who recognise Nestle as one of the least ethical companies on the planet.
I wonder how the news about GM is going down in the USA? They have super-farms full of GM crops to keep their shelves stocked.

Divine flow
Thanks so much for sharing Leslie and Becky - it's when we share such consciousness that the ripples can spread further and further afield. It might not always look like things are changing, but nothing an ultimately stop the shift of consciousness having its effect when it is aligned with the divine flow.

Human evolution and suicide
First of all, I am anything but cold hearted, guys.
Sorry to disappoint.
But it is not always when people feel differently from you it necessarily means they are cold hearted or intellectual.
I just know too well how it feels.
My both grandfathers killed themselves. One by hanging himself and the other one by exhaust gas (in his car in the garage).
My ex-boyfriend killed himself.
And I poisoned myself by swallowing two packs of Zodorm (hardcore sleeping pills) and I was absolutely ready to die. The plan was to swallow and then go to bed, so nobody suspects anything (it was late at night) and can't interrupt it. But I made two steps and collapsed on the floor, where I was found by my mom and revived in the hospital. This is how I am still here
And you know what? Dealing with life was much, much, much! harder than killing myself.
I felt like there is no other way to deal with all this for me. Simply no way out. Everything was dark. I was angry at God, I felt tired and fed up with it all, totally desperate and hopeless. So I am talking from experience and not some image or idea. I was in a state of such despair. And I saw and talked to other people who survived their suicide attempts.
Moreover, I have suicidal impulses rather often, around ones in two-three months. I am not talking about thinking about it. I am taking about sitting, breathing, centering and focusing only on one thing: how I don't kill myself NOW. Like the impulse to jump out of the window and get done with all this. How does it feel? To be that sick of it all, to be that tired, that hopeless? But it is just a feeling. And this feeling has nothing to do with reality. I have put myself in the situation that triggered it. This is clear to me, absolutely clear. So I don't feel myself a victim of anything or anybody, despite feeling how all this affects me and what it did and does to me.
So what do I feel? I feel that life was and is always hard for me, just too hard. I too could swallow something and solve my unsolvable problems like this just so many times or get out of this place I never felt belong to anyway. What is heroic in it? What is right in it? How is it a protest? It is weakness (this is how I feel, don't think). Protest to me is keeping going, overcoming this weakness, this shield and doing something about it. It is nothing intellectual. This is how I feel, that to me staying is a protest and making a change in myself.
So do I feel compassion? Sure I do! Do I think it is right what happened there and what is happening all around? Of course, not!
But I just don't feel the way you feel. I don't feel that they are victims and Monsanto is a monster and the only one responsible for this, and I don't feel that their suicidal actions were a protest. People kill themselves all over. During last year three people I know personally killed themselves because life is tough, so...? Why pick the farmers? Look around! All these people 'don't know too'. Does it make them less responsible? No. Not knowing, unfortunately, doesn't take the responsibility away. Our actions have consequences we have to deal with.
Another point with this case is how about feeling? So they didn't know. What did they feel? Where was their intuition? Did they even listen? How come, if they are so innocent and aligned, that they didn't feel that something is wrong here? Or were it their souls that brought them to do it? And also to kill themselves later?
All this is very sad. But I am not going to bend myself into your perception.
The way I see it this whole situation rather recreates the human history, how we got to this point. We didn't know. We just played, we wanted better lives, more comfortable, so we can work less and have more and look now.
Many of us tend to turn a blind eye (in the conscious circles as well)and say we didn't know, why are we 'punished'? But we are not. It is just a simple action/reaction and we can change it. It is good for us, so we can learn and not allow ourselves to relax and do whatever we feel like and keep developing and learning. I don't know about you, but all my evolution I discover that I didn't know something and I take the responsibility and the pain, open and keep going.
So this story is just a reflection of my own stuff to me. It made me look at many things in myself. And see how I have both Monsanto and these farmers within myself. So no, no poor nobody in my view. Just people who have some inner and outer work to do, like we all.
I hope it helped to understand where I am coming from (not intellectual at all, for a change
).
Generated or true feelings?
There is another thing I feel that is important for me to say here.
Much of the information shared these days inflicts a certain emotional state. I became very well settled within my own feelings so I don't get infected by the wave within the message, be it negative or positive. I am just watching what arises from me. This way I can be honest with myself and see the truth: how I really feel and what is being shown to ME.
So while somebody feels certain way and sees things in the situation or event, another person might feel differently.
I used to copycat others' emotions and vibrations (which is totally not a problem, since I am very sensitive to the vibrations and empathetic
), so I feel belong and fitting. I don't do that anymore. I am not interested to feel belong, accepted or supported. All I want is to know how I feel really and evolve from that.
Of course, I respect others' feelings and I learn from that too. For example, this article by saying certain things has shown me how I feel about it and made me dig in myself and my own feelings.
So I am very careful with this what I call 'emotional pollution' going around these days (in news, for example, or when people talk about certain events). Emotions are very contagious and are spread very easily, shielding the natural response and authentic feelings arising.
And I do more or less the same with vibration and feelings when coming in touch with any material. I'd rather feel how I am cruel and bloodthirsty, if these are my true feelings, even if they are wrong, than to generate the feeling of kindness and compassion within myself and lie to myself.
(Here it is not the case. I AM compassionate about the whole situation, but feel differently 'sad' about the details. My view stirs different things in me than your view).
We talk a lot here about the pollution and distortion of the mental bodies, but I nowadays work a lot with my astral body and emotions. And the emotional noise and pollution is not any less than mental in the urban territories...
Hi Yulia
Hi Yulia
I think I can understand the point you are making - there are no 'goodies' and 'baddies' and 'evil monsters' and 'innocent victims'. We are all in this together, we are all a part of it, and each one has his/her own path to follow and lessons to learn. And you are right, it is easy to get sucked into the emotiveness of issues - that's why people use pictures of big-eyed children to persuade us to part with our money for this or that - so we do need to check where our reaction is coming from.
Thanks for being honest in putting forward your view (and for sharing your experiences of suicide).
much love
Becky
Another lesson
Hey Becky
This is exactly what I meant. Thank you!
It is a bit of a problem on the net, when we are expressing our views and give only part of the picture, and those parts not told are actually necessary to make what we are saying understandable. So I all the time see that I should pay more attention to how I say and express things.
So it was another good lesson for me.
I hope I don't look cold anymore. I am so soft, cute and fluffy
Yulia,
You're welcome
Becky
Oh, another misunderstanding
When I was talking about the internet in the end of the 'cold' comment
I was talking about the average consumer, not the farmers, after stressing that those that are responsible the most are the consumers within the matrix (who definitely can read and the majority have access to the internet), who are actually sustaining such organisations as Monsanto by paying for their products.
So I said if we check what we have on our tables and refuse to take part in it by simply not buying (which might lead to some more 'suicides' and collapses, as 'Monsantos' are not the only ones who are going to get hurt from it), then these will simply have no other choice left but stop.
And I have just a small questions: are we sure we know it all? Are we sure we ourselves are not denying anything and soon are going to have to pay for our convenient denial? This was what I saw there... I know I deny a lot and I know I have a lot of fears to process concerning survival.
That's it for now...
Misunderstandings
My comments were not really related to yours as I was writing . Although, I do differ in some (some not) of my perceptions to yours in that many of these people are just not all given the gift of intellect, they are given the gifts of hard work physical farm labour and are a humble folk who don’t even think to question things and believe . I agree in the sense that it is the average consumer who also is co-creating , that is what has recently almost been making me sick. And once we wake up to that, we have a responsibility to really live in a higher conscious and energetic aligned way of being…there are no longer convenient excuses. There are so many ugly truths hidden from us..
It’s completely the Openhand way to express a true arising authenticity from the soul, whatever that is. It is okay to have a difference of opinion, I don’t think you are at all being judged , but there are always deeper invitations that only your soul can know!.
I did feel your original post had a filter around the suicide subject as I was reading, and felt your inner blockages…… hence understood why you perceived as you did!.
I often have been misunderstood in all settings and often show myself to be the exact opposite of how I feel to be inside because I have s been stuck in some of my stuff, which has caused me so many problems and frustrations in my life. Thank- goodness somehow it’s all ending and somehow or another I am being shown myself in every situation now through a higher self awareness. So that I am ‘’seeing’’ and’’ feeling’’ how I am coming across to another and then often hear their thoughts….
I guess we don’t always have the full picture about things going on in the world but often enough and unless we were to ‘’step in another person’s shoes and walk a thousand miles’’ completely stripped of our own perceptions- we might then change our original perceptions…when we can only feel what it is like to be another person……..one may ask how is that ever possible ? But perhaps this isn’t the right page to discuss it.
Conflict - A gateway to healing
Yulia,
I feel that every conflict is an opportunity to lessen the tension if we use it for what it really is: a gateway to healing. Seems like the painful experiences resurfaced again bringing you closer to perhaps a set of unconscious beliefs (Some people call them energy blockages, etc.) that you’re holding. Each of us has a set of those that are holding us tight, causing pain and making our lives far from fulfilled. However once brought to the light of our attention they simply cease to be. It’s such a relief to stop trying to be what you already are! This ends acting in ways that we think will make us special, but really make us unhappy.
The responses you reacted to most here are love in disguise, as much as your post is a healing opportunity to those who had any kind of "negative" reaction to your point of view.
I’m happy that you were given this great opportunity to heal.
Love, compassion and courage to all Openhanders!
Margaret
Eyes wide open
Chris,
Thank you for sharing this information. I have never heard of Monsanto, but known of the genetic engineering. Something strange indeed is happening to the food. The local supermarket offering does not seem like an edible choice anymore. To me most of the items on the shelves seem "plastic" and dead. I feel now I really need to keep my eyes wide open in order to make fully conscious choices.
I observe more and more people are waking up to this synthetic reality and it seems like the resistance to it is growing. The enhanced food wave will come to a crash eventually as it had in the past when smaller group of people tried to control the majority. We can speed up the process by doing just what you did in your post: bring more attention to the issue!
Margaret
Responsibility too
Isn't this amazing? When we're able to truly get into the 'meat' of such complex and difficult experiences, express our feelings, emotions, our truth and our distortions and it's entirely okay? To me it feels wonderful, cathartic, confrontational (in a positive sense) and healing.
No one is judging here, but these are emotive subjects and Openhand is here to provide a platform to truly explore them.
We can be free to express AND ALSO, I'd say it's important to remember/realise one key thing:
when the soul reaches a point,
where it is pretty much unveiled,
there is freedom of expression yes,
but there comes with it a great responsibility too.
When the soul is unveiled and we're speaking from a deeper truth, then what we say can be truly felt. Before that, it is just flotsam on the stream.
So I also encourage responsibility - but not burden - with our words. When we speak, let our words be better than our silence would have been.
Love to all
Chris
The power of the flow
Hi Margaret,
Welcome to Openhandweb - welcome to the forum.
You said...
"I observe more and more people are waking up to this synthetic reality and it seems like the resistance to it is growing. Yes indeed! For me this sums it all up right now. We have immense power as human beings. We have immense power in our words, our presence and our consciousness. BUT ONLY when we use it wisely, ONLY when it's in the flow.
So I'd say let's always seek the flow and speak from there. Then we can truly begin to channel our consciousness into such issues with great effect.
Chris
Funny :)
I didn't feel any conflict at all!
To me it was just dynamic exploration of myself all the way. I use it all as lessons, even not for healing. I don't feel I need to heal anything. I am perfectly ok with this stuff and can stay like this forever. I just bring awareness to all kinds of feelings, flashbacks, etc. I don't think about any purposes or uses, I just feel, do something (like expressing it) and then something happens.
Actually, the stuff I was really dealing with here was not my 'suicidal baggage' (I processed it to the extent it doesn't touch me, at least for now. This is why I had no emotional response to the events, only feelings), but more emotional perception of external events and clearing that to feel my soul better. Surely I saw and felt all the elements in myself.
And another important thing I was processing here (later) is fear to be different and troubles to express myself in a 'right' way (as Chris rightly pointed in his comment). It is not enough to recognise the authentic feelings, but also be able to bring it to authentic expression. This was the thing. Not a suicide
I shared my experience here to show that I understand and know how it feels. And this is why I know it is not as 'poor somebody' as it looks when you actually experience it. In a way, it is not so different from any other experience, be it in an identified or non-identified way. Just deep, very interesting and intense bunch of sensations. But neverthless I felt compassion because I also know how it is to get lost in these feelings. Very challenging...
And we come back to the 'shield' again. We all here talk to ourselves in a way hhh It was clear to me that the responses were just triggers to show me my own relation to myself. So I didn't feel any conflict here. But I surely felt to drop a couple of responses anyway. In a funny way. I am usually careful about projecting my stuff on others as it happens a lot, especially when we forget that we are here to look at ourselves, constantly and we are not here to show/help, etc others. We 'help' through SELF realisation and SELF expression.
About the world and blindness. There is no end to this. I don't feel I am here to know it ALL, but just what I need to know for my evolution NOW. I trust I will be shown in some way, even it will be the hard way. So it is very individual and this is why certain things might stir stuff in me and not move a thing in another.
All this world I perceive is just a reflection... There is no absolute 100% real world to percieve there. I found it good and helpful to keep it 'in mind' ;D
Re: Hidden magic
Hi Lesley,
I really appreciated your post regarding your experiences in India. It was in fact our conversations a while back that inspired a deeper appreciation of how different the culture is there. It showed me the difference between ignorance and being unaware.
To me this theme is like when 'man' tried to exploit the sacred lands on Avatar, or when the 'white-man' stole North America and Hawaii (and the other countless stories). This is just more subtle and less obvious to many.

We can Only Know what We Know
Good Greetings All:
I thank you for being here now. I bless all with Love. I thank you, Chris for a wonderful article. This is also a topic I have been following for quite sometime now.
Here in the USA where I reside, it is very challenging to avoid GMO's. The FDA and USDA (both governmental agencies responsible for product labeling) have deemed that the Public does not need to know about GMO's. It takes quite a lot of detective work and energy sensing to avoid the tentacles Monsanto's Octopus grasp.
There is some activism to change this in the USA but because of the Media blackout on this subject, the propaganda of Monsanto and their ilk and the Government Backing of Monsanto owned lands and crops--- as well as the corrupt lobbying and buying of elected officials--- much of the American Public remains unaware that the food they are eating is a GMO product--- they do not know the risks of ingesting such poision. They are unaware.
If the information is not avaiable how does one become aware? Awareness happens with education. Education happens with Awareness. If education is unavailable progress toward awareness is often stunted, stalled or sterile.
Through social networking more and more people are becoming aware--- but then there is the cost of the Non-GMO foods--- these foods often cost 3x's the amount as the GMO foods. Contrary to popular belief, most Americans have only enough money for rent, heat, electrity, petroleum and last is food. Food is what most people cut in their budgets as costs continue to rise. Shelter for most costs a little of 50% of a weekly budget. The other 50% must cover electric, communication, transportation, medical, taxes, fees, and food. This is why the Occupy Movement is gathering speed in the USA.
There are those who are uneducated and impoverished in the USA and unaware that the bar code numbers will sometimes indicate that the product is GMO-- of course one must know the number codes used to discern this hidden catalog.
Then the other is some stores label where the product was produced-- on what farm. With a little detective work, one can find out where that farm is and who they are affiliated with due to farm liscening. This will indicate in some cases but not all cases as to what type of food these farms are producing. Is it a mono-crop on an Industrial Farm? If the answer is yes-- then there is a high probability it is a GMO crop--- this is not always the case. For instance, Buckwheat is grown in large fields on large farms in Maine, USA and it is not a GMO crop it is just a large large farm.
And finally, a way to discern the GMO foodstuffs is to simply hold the food in the hands and sense the food--- allow the energy signature to reveal its clarity or entaglement. GMO foodstuffs to me feels entangled-- like it is in a state of dis-ease.
Even with these skills sets, it may not be possible to avoid GMO's here in the USA--- the foods that are cheapest are often GMO's for a family that has a food budget of say 60.00 USD the food that they choose to eat is the food that is cheapest and goes the farthest for a week. This is the reality of many individuals and families in the USA.
The other reality for many is homelessness and food deserts. Food deserts are great tracts of areas in cities and in rural areas where the only stores are convenience petro station stores. These stores sell mostly GMO quick foods that require no cooking and/or are processed foods. How this has happened is still be unraveled-- and what to do about it is a hot topic for argument between those who believe in predatory free market capitalism and those who believe in Ethical Capitalism.
The farmers in India and elsewhere that are considered to be export processing zones for the "first world nations" are largely uneducated and unaware. One can go on and stand in judgement of this--- or not.
The lengths that I as an American have to go to discern if a food stuff is a GMO is similar to that of the Indian Farmer--- only most of the farmers can not read or write in Hindi or English--- and most food is labeled in English--- and then there is the case of outright lying to these farmers.
Those who see the Indian Farmers as greedy--- have you let go of all your wealth to live close to the land and farm using only hand-tools and a water buffalo to till the land, plant the seeds, tend the crops, water the crops and harvest the crops, and then transport the crops to market balanced on your head? Much of this hard work is done by women and children in India.
Do you live without clean water, central heating, electricity, healthcare, voting rights, schooling, grocery stores, roads, and infrastructure? Have you given this up, permanently?
Do you consider yourself greedy?
Have you stopped eating except for 1 cup full of rice or grain a day cooked divided amongst all your family members? That sure is a way to reduce the need for food and a veiled way to promote eugenics as this level of calorie intake is inadequate for maintaining the human form.
So, is there plenty here on Earth? Absolutely! There is plenty of resources for all and as we raise in frequency and vibration we will be able to rise to the challenge of fair distribution of resources so all people are cared for in a way that is in harmony with the Earth-Gaia, Humankind and the Cosmos. A way in which we care for our over 6 billion neighbors as if they are each of our own cherished family members. This is what is meant by Love Your Neighbor.
As to suicide of these farmers--- their suicides are an act of sacrifice for their families as it often alleviates the selling of their children and/or wife to pay the debt or to avoid the debt collectors which are similar to the Mafi thugs of the 1st nations only worse. Debt in the 3rd world is an ugly ugly thing that make the Debtors prisons of the 19th Century of Europe and America look like a vacation.
Here in the USA there were many farmers that committed suicide as they had gone into great debt to try to make it as a small farmer. Everything that they cherished and valued was foreclosed upon and taken from these farmers--- many who were generational farmers. The very idea of doing something else to make a living just was not something they are or were aware of.
Farmer suicide is happening all over the world. Suicide is a symptom of societal breakdown. Suicide is also catching--- it is called cluster suicide. We are all interconnected and energetic dis-ease is as catching as the energetic flow of Love. This is something that is being studied by researchers here in the USA that are concerned about this.
Slavery is still alive and well in every country in the world. Monsanto and the others of similar ilk are modern day debt slavers. This is what they peddle under the guise of freedom. Now that many are becoming of aware of this- many are choosing to free themselves by refusing to do business with Monsanto.
The only way I see to address GMO's and the Monsanto Network is through education and awareness and with that education and awareness to make the conscious choice to avoid these foodstuffs as much as one is able to and to transmute the conditions within the Human Heart that create this out-picturing of reality. This means to assist each other in raising vibration through support, education, guidance and encouragement.

Atonement with the universe
Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for sharing your well researched views on GMO and welcome to Openhandweb.
In many ways we're aligned in viewpoints, except one key one. I think it's so very important to all that we truly contemplate this which is why I feel to raise it...
"So, is there plenty here on Earth? Absolutely! There is plenty of resources for all and as we raise in frequency and vibration we will be able to rise to the challenge of fair distribution of resources so all people are cared for in a way that is in harmony with the Earth-Gaia, Humankind and the Cosmos. Yes I agree with this part: there is plenty, for all people. But what about the natural earth eco-systems? What about the plant and animal kingdoms? Do they get a say in this too?
Before the start of the industrial revolution there were just 900 million people on the planet. It had taken several million years of human evolution to get there (which in itself I also know was not entirely 'natural' - but that's another story). And now, in little over a century, the global population stands at around 7 billion. By the middle of this century, if current trends continue, it will be 9 Billion. That's a ten fold expansion in population in the blink of a Gaian eye!
When I step out of the desired reality my mind would like to create and truly into my heart, it tells me this situation on earth right now is not aligned with the natural flow of the universe. It is not in harmony, is not sustainable and therefore is an anomaly waiting to be unwound. And I have every certainty this unwinding will take place in the not too distant future.
So what if we take away GMO? (which I sincerely hope will happen). What will we do about industrial agriculture which is still raping mother earth and destroying the top soils? So let's suppose we take that away too (which I sincerely hope will happen). What are we left with? - organic farming methods on small integrated plots of land. Do we really think that approach can 'feed the world'? My heart tells me we'd need a planet twice the size of the one we have, just to feed humanity alone. Which still doesn't help the natural wild life.
My personal experience is that when one truly tries to live consciously with the land and considering all other creatures, allowing life to find its own way, it doesn't feel to me like there is sufficient space. Except that is if you cull all the so called 'pests' (like slugs for example). Except 'pests' are a part of the natural environment too. They each have their place in a system that is natural. True universal harmony is not about trying to selectively favour one species over another. The idea is that all species find a balanced harmony. Gaia herself is self-regulating. That's what the earth's eco-system was all about. I say 'was' because the natural order of life has long since been buried under the artificial systems humanity has created.
So where does this leave humanity and the planet now? When I step out of the mind and what I would like to have happen, and feel in my heart what I know is happening, then I feel coming pretty much what the Hopi elders spoke of: a "great purification". It's something that has been foretold in countless spiritual texts and I have seen it with my own inner eye. It simply has to happen because everything is consciousness and connected. Therefore any anomaly in the universal flow, any eddy current in the stream, is simply bound to be unwound in one way or another. It is inevitable.
Thus I see this 'reharmonisation' - a recalibration - happening on the surface of planet earth. I see the surface of this lower realm being peeled away like a worn out skin. I see that beginning to kick off right now and taking maybe two or three generations to complete. It could happen as the result of a range of increasingly likely scenarios: for example as the result of natural 'disasters' (for which Fukushima was but a warning), accelerated climate change, dwindling natural resources such as energy, water and food, not too mention increasing war and resource struggle amongst humanity. These trends are already escalating. Indeed there are many ways in which this 'realignment' could happen. Take solar flares for example. Right now we're moving into a period of intense solar activity which could easily destroy vast areas of inhabitable land and bring down the power grids of which we are dependent.
Following this reharmonisation process, I then see the earth having a period of perhaps thousands of years renewal and healing time. I see a minority of mankind evolving and ascending into the Fifth Dimension as this all takes place. And I see the rest either being reintegrated with the source, or recovered into the angelic realms for healing and reflection whilst they await a new possibility for physical reincarnation: a possibility that teaches people how to live more at one with the universe's natural eco-systems without trying to manipulate or control them. That is after all clearly the karma humanity is confronting right now.
I first saw these visions during a car crash in which I was suddenly expanded multi-dimensionally. All of the precursors for this purification - like the credit crunch of 2008 for example - have since either happened or begun to happen. I feel the truth of the flows of these energies in my heart. I've not fully spoken of them in public until recently. I wanted to be absolutely sure people would be able to hear what I had to share without closing down. I believe that people are increasingly ready to hear that message now in light of everything that has taken place in recent years. I yearn to help people let go of this crumbling system and find the freedom to carry them into the higher paradigm: one to which we all have a ticket (even if many don't follow it).
It's a message I feel to share increasingly going forwards. It's the reason I was given to share "Five Gateways" as the pathway for humanity into the higher paradigm. I believe this to be the destined realignment for our planet: a chance for us all to regain harmony and at-one-ment (atonement) with the universe.

Re: Atonement with the universe
Welcome to the forum Fairyfarmgirl. I see you have a really big heart an inner resolve to see the world becoming a better place. It's great to know that there are people out there who really care.
Chris I deeply resonate with your sharing regarding Mother Earth especially here:
Chris wrote: "But what about the natural earth eco-systems? What about the plant and animal kingdoms? Do they get a say in this too?
It seems to me that humankind can be somewhat speciesist at the expense of other sentient life forms. Like we are somehow superior. This is so unfortunate. I am a guest here, formed of matter from the earth, like all people. Yet, I don't pressume that I have a right to be here any more than any other sentient life.
I feel a natural harmonisation happening too. We have called it upon ourselves by our actions.
The ZPG and Eugenics
Zero Population Growth and Eugenics camp believes that humans are largely a parasitic species and recommend that all humans be removed from the Earth. We are considered to be nasty dirty humans. And this comes through in the Metaphysical Community-- where the use of ZPG and Eugenics is talked up as a viable means to preserve Earth-Gaia.
The issue is not with population but rather with social organization and the belief in Negative Liberty.
So much of the Earth's precious space is used in a way that is negative--- Humankind has created systems that are based on individual ownership and liberty.
This system is unsustainable and has been so since the fall of Atlantis.
There are ways in which to organize ourselves and have plenty for all including the Earth-Gaia, all realms of Flora and Fauna.
I see this in our future where all human systems are co-created with Gaia, the Fairy Realm and Humankind so that all is in harmony and life thriving.
I bless you all with Love.

Time frame of the change..
Hi Chris,
Thanks for these insights, I think I very well resonate with them.
I am a little confused about the timeline of change here. In some of your earlier posts you had mentioned that, earth will enter 5th dimension, sometime in this year. But here you mentioned about 2-3 generations to enter 5th dimension. Or you meant it will take 2-3 generations for 3rd dimension to peel off after earth has entered 5th dimension.
You had also mentioned about end of this year being heavily loaded, especially after Olympics , what can we expect this year ? Will it be sudden acceleration of change and a visible breakdown of the current system ? Somehow I am feeling the current financial system cannot go much beyond few more months and we will see widespread breakdown of the current system in next few months. Also you had mentioned about OC is wishing to be in the flow now, what are the implications of that to the above scenarios? Doesn't that mean the system is itself wanting to melt down ?
Many questions were coming to me so wanted to share them.
Much love and gratitude for this forum which has become more than anything else to me
MB
Bursting at the seams
Great questions indeed MB.
What I feel is that Gaia will centre her consciousness in the 5th Dimension sometime around the turn of the year. It feels like she has some processing to complete first. But that feels well underway to me.
Then after that, the way things are currently moving, I'd say we have 2-3 generations before the 3D skin is peeled off (so to speak).
And yes, it's pretty clear that the financial system is bursting at the seams with debt. It's highly unlikely it can continue much longer without some major 'restructuring'. The powers-that-be would need something like a war in order to proclaim a kind of 'martial economic law'. They could then devalue their currencies and write-off their foreign debt. It would be a 'neat' solution to their current problems. It would seem that could well be their intention in terms of the way things are moving in the Middle East for example.
In terms of the Opposing Consciousness, there are several levels to consider. At the highest multi-dimensional level, yes, I definitely feel a realignment beginning to happen. But there are many earth based 3D societies that have been tuning into that energy - and although their powerbases are now being eroded (which I also feel), they still have physical resource and power control. So there's an unwinding taking place, but don't expect that to be necessarily smooth in this plane of consciousness.
What I do sense is that major 'natural' events will tend to take over and begin to break down the system in a very positive way.
