Quietly spreading the message around the world
Openhand is a very young and vibrant organisation with just a few people at its very core. So far we've focussed our efforts inwardly on developing the Openhand approach to life, our message, meditations, philosophy and practices. Well now it feels like we're coming of age and humbly, we feel moved to begin spreading our message around the world to those interested and open to listening...
We believe Openhand has a great deal to offer as we proceed through this magical planetary transition and we feel the best way to grow is through a network of Associates - people who resonate with what we're doing, who are motivated and moved to articulate the Openhand essence in their own unique way. Our purpose of course is to raise the collective consciousness of awakening souls. It is with great joy in our hearts therefore that we can announce today that Brendan and Stephie have elected to become Openhand Associates representing the Foundation in their home country Australia.
Stephie and Brendan
Stephie and Brendan are two people very dear to Openhand. In the bountiful time they have been involved, they have given selflessly. Firstly, through their surrendered openness during courses and retreats they have frequently led the way encouraging others by their own example to look within and peel away that which no longer serves. They have helped harness the light and so doing have been an absolute joy to all participants.
Much more than that though, they have contributed enormously to spreading the Openhand message principally through their amazing creation of our mini movie Gateways of Light which I know has already touched many souls. I'm sure anyone who watches it, whether they agree with the message or not, will recognise the professionalism, energy and love that went into its creation. But we have still more to be thankful for in Stephie's wonderful graphic design work both for this website and the Gateways of Light book cover - all given freely and unconditionally with joy. Thankyou so much to you both - we are truly blessed!
And for those who'd like to know a little more about Brendan and Stephie, brief biogs are below.
Stephie
Stephie is a talented Graphic Designer with over twenty years of experience. She has diversified into many other areas including web design and website management, advertising, marketing and public relations, project management and all facets of professional print production. But it's her work as a fine artist that really makes her heart sing. She is currently working towards a body of work devoted to the planet and the evolution of consciousness (as glimpsed in the Gateways of Light short film) and hopes to exhibit the work mid 2009.
She has also enjoyed being involved in the website, filming and graphic work for the Openhand Foundation. Like her husband Brendan, she too is dedicated to spiritual growth and keen to see the Openhand message unfold, through Australia and beyond. Brendan
Brendan is a spiritual film maker based in the heart of the Rainbow Region of NSW in Australia. He has worked professionally in Film & Television since the early nineties and has established the "Smiling Dragonfly" company to specialise in the production of conscious media. Brendan shot, directed and edited the Gateways of Light short film and is currently seeking funding for a feature length documentary that will expand on the messages presented.
Web videos and DVDs seem the new papyrus in today's age, enabling Brendan's spiritual life and work life to merge and fulfill a higher purpose. He is dedicated to 'the path' and happy to meet and share with any like-minded soul. He has a great respect for the work Chris and Trinity do in the UK and is especially keen to bring the Openhand message to the other side of the globe for those wishing to know more. Deeply honoured
We are deeply honoured to become associates of such a wonderful Foundation. Its taken awhile to respond as we don't have the phone or internet where we live at present (which, I have to admit, has been absolutely wonderful in many ways!) but also because we were waiting to see what came up,.. and it is this:
Our respective spiritual journeys went into a kind of Millennium Falcon-style hyperdrive the day Steph and I crossed paths with Chris and Trin. Their energies were like a warm radox bath after a hard days labour. Their work resonated with us instantaneously and the immense value and power of the Openhand message quickly became crystal clear.
We had always felt fairly tuned-in to the world around us but at the same time were becoming more and more disconnected because of what we were seeing and experiencing. The greed we were witnessing and the disrespect being shown to our Mother Earth was becoming deeply disturbing. It was just something we couldnt rationalise within our current state of beingness. And the more we despaired, the more we looked to the outer world for answers and that illusive completeness. The chasm was widening between our true selves and the illusion. But then, as if scripted, Openhand offered us the bridge we were looking for and within a very short while our lives seem to transform from that small, dark world of conditioned behaviours and distortions to a spacious and beautiful world where magic could once again be observed and experienced on a daily basis. It felt like being a kid again as it became very clear that there was only one place to look for our completeness and it wasnt the outer world. The realisation that there is really only one game going on here in this dimension, that of self realisation, was indeed a huge turning point. And that simply everything now seems engineered just to show us these truths about our individual selves? Well, this continues to amaze me. Dont get me wrong, we still get stuck - all the time infact, and there feels like quite some distance to go on this particular journey. But just knowing we are ON a path - and the path that is right for us, is an enormous comfort in these changing times and such a divine blessing.
And it was Chris and Trin who planted the sign post. And not only that, but out of sheer grace and the kindness of their hearts, they also gave us all the tools we might need for our journey and for getting ourselves unstuck (What a debt of gratitude!). And this, my friends, is why we feel such a strong pull to share our energy with others and offer our services in any way we can. There seems no higher purpose. So do please call on us if we can serve your purpose.
