21/08/07: "We have power in our pockets"

More and more we are reading about the wholesale destruction of our environment due to humanity's rampant consumerism. Not only is it placing our very existence in this dimension in peril, most importantly it is lowering our energetic vibration making it more difficult for many to lift their consciousness. So what can we do about it? The power rests with us - the power is in our pockets...

You may be interested to read our latest addition to "The clock is ticking" called "Mattel's real toy story: slave labour in sweatshops" published in "This is London". The article speaks of the inhumane conditions employees have to work in and also the incredible damage being reeked on our environment by the company's manufacturing process...

"Without places like this, with its swirling red dust, toxic rivers and thick, choking smog that hovers everywhere, stinging eyes and throats, the modern toy industry would not exist. This is the hidden face of the trade where toys are produced for a few pence each by vast numbers of young Chinese people toiling in sweatshop conditions."

Today so many of our goods come from China - so much so that its even cheaper to send our waste back to China on the empty returning containers! Is this a sensible way to configure our society? Is it sustainable for our environment? Is it in our general population's interests?

If our answer to these questions is "no", then we each have the power to do something about it. We can inform ourselves and every time we spend money, be absolutely sure that we are not supporting or sustaining industries that lower our energetic vibration - those actions that damage our at-one-ment with the soul of the earth.

You may also arrive - like me - at the conclusion that our consumeristic society is so out of control that even our own actions are unlikely to have a dramatic reversing effect. In which case, what would be a sensible way forward for each one of us fully awakening to higher vibrations?...

  • Firstly, the key is not to get down or depressed about it but to accept it as a part of our reality. Notice what is going on across our planet, don't deny the truth but embrace it.
  • Secondly, you might be able to accept the destruction as a natural part of our evolution - a separation between light and dark; an increasing polarity as our planetary system moves to a higher vibration. She is shaking off an old skin.
  • Thirdly, instead of dwelling in the darkness, attune instead to the lightness of your soul and the divine synchronicity that underlies the patterning of all events. Feel the benevolent love of guiding higher consciousness steering a pathway through the density.
  • Forthly, as a part of your own evolutionary journey - your destined pathway - you may be called upon to work to protect the environment but here is the most important thing, it will benefit us all not to become emotionally attached and therefore tight inside. This lowers our vibration which is clearly counterproductive.
  • Finally and most importantly, we must become at one with mother earth. Even though continued destruction of our planet may be inevitable, that does not mean we shouldn't harmonise with the soul of the earth and do our best to protect and sustain her - the only way to ascend is through energetic "at-one-ment" with our planetary system.

I remember when I awoke to universal life energy I found myself one day stood at a food aisle in a supermarket. With every item of food I picked up, I could feel the negative vibrations. Either from the packaging, the colouring, preservatives or even the chemicals used to clean the store with. Add to that the filament lighting and the endless posters inviting me to "buy two for the price of one", it felt like I was stood in a energy sink - I could literally feel the universal life energy draining from my body.

Synchronistically, just as my mind seemed completely lost in the energetic confusion, I heard a cash till closing. I realised I had enormous power - the power not to buy. I left the store and found my energies positively soar again once I was outside in the fresh air.

It is then that I realised the power is in our pockets!!!

May the power be with you.
