22/05/09: "What goes up must come down..."

Climbing the mountain of peace
I've been greatly inspired in recent days by two apparently unrelated key events that have taken place on the global stage. One is the falling consumption of global electricity and the other, the successful attempt on Mount Everest by the veteran 65 year old adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes. I am greatly heartened by both and as a Lightworker, seeing the interconnectivity between all events and circumstances, I can definitely appreciate the synchronistic significance...

Here at Openhand we've long questioned the inherent will of both global corporations and world leaders to genuinely curb Industrial Consumerism and find a sustainable way forwards. Despite continual messages both from environmentalists and even Gaia herself, it seems the vast majority are still not responding to the urgency of the situation.

That said, the evolutionary work of lightworkers everywhere is having a magnificent impact. As we continue to unfold internally, we expand into the higher paradigm of greater harmony and energetic equity. The more we centre in this realm of profound love, the more our light radiates outwards greatly influencing all around us.

As we stand in our truth, the collective consciousness of the ascending group calls into question any vibration of lower evolution and harmony. That's why the very fabric of our society is beginning to crumble. To me, the financial credit crunch was a direct consequence of the illusionary view that true abundance is to be found in material wealth.

We may be the silent minority, but our collective consciousness is beginning to turn the tide. And it is so important that we keep on going. We have done great work so far, but much more needs to be done.

Although it may at times seem like we have a mountain to climb, if we just stay centred in our truth and keep shining the light, we are destined to reach the top. That's why I was so inspired by "Ran's" successful Everest climb at the age of 65 despite having previously failed twice and having suffered a heart attack!

And what was his approach to this monumental achievement? I quote....

"I'm not contemplating reaching the top,
I'm just gonna keep endlessly repeating 'plod forever'.
    Don't expect to get there,
don't expect there's going to be a top to this mountain,
    just plod forever!"

The sense of commitment in his words I find deeply moving; the inevitability of persistence; the total embrace of the moment. It sends shivers up and down my spine!

So lightworkers everywhere take heart, keep climbing that mountain of peace, because what goes up, must come down!

Chris
