Whilst we go about our daily business today, we might spare a thought for the brave Buddhist monks and ordinary people of Burma who are challenging the oppressive military dictatorship there. I find it deeply heart warming that people armed only with love, compassion and heart felt conviction can challenge military might. To me it offers a powerful message of courage to all people who feel themselves suffering injustice including those who have to suffer a global consumeristic machine that seems to me is just as manipulative. May we all have the courage to centre in our soul and do what we know to be right, despite the apparent personal cost!
