Underlying energy shifts
In a recent Openhand Journal entry we asked if a powerful energetic "Tsunami" had begun relating to the growing global bank credit crisis. In previous articles we've invited readers to make the synchronistic connection between the ailing dinosaur of Industrial Consumerism and Mother Earth's insistent warnings. We've also spoken of our views that nothing short of a total restructuring of the way we live is going to stem the ensuing tide. Energy efficient light bulbs and bio diesel are only likely to paper over the cracks of a system that is looking increasingly unsustainable...

Benevolent Consciousness speaking through the weave
We've always maintained that Higher Benevolent Consciousness speaks through the weave of all global events inviting each and everyone of us to find our highest truth. So with these shocking new images of the cracking Antarctic Ice Shelf, I would invite each and everyone of you to find the deeper meaning...

"The Synchronistic Times"
I enjoy scanning the world wide web news most mornings. Higher Consciousness has shown me very clearly how to find the truth within the illusion, to sort the wheat from the chaff. It works kind of like this... I move into a meditative state where my consciousness slips into a higher perception. I then ask the question "what would you reveal to me now?" I then simply follow the pull to various of the websites I have saved in my favourites. However instead of simply reading the articles posted, I allow my consciousness to be drawn to where it is guided.

In so doing an alternative story begins to emerge that interconnects through the articles and postings. The collective text comes together to form what I have now (humorously) come to know as "The Synchronistic Times". I often find myself laughing out loud at the irony - you might like to try it some time.

Papering over the cracks
This morning, I was specifically drawn to two articles. First in the UK's Independent about the cracking Antarctic Ice Shelf (no laughing matter indeed!...click here) and then immediately afterwards I was drawn to this one in the Guardian about plummeting consumer confidence in the USA and its impact on the economy there (to read article...click here). So my "Guardian" was drawing me to some "Independent" news (don't you just love the language of synchronicity?").

But here's where intuition is needed to connect the two together. It comes only after we've disconnected from the message the media matrix would have us believe and instead apply heart and soul to unveiling what's really real.

To me, the message is unmistakable: "that Industrial Consumerism founded on ever expanding personal and corporate debt has been fueling the destruction of our natural ecosystems. But the system has become too "successful" for its own good and is now beginning to crack up. If the credit crunch continues to spread from America, then the whole system risks implosion.

Storm clouds with a silver lining
When I tune into Mother Earth, I get the distinct feeling that this would not be such a bad thing. Yes it would create a great deal of heart ache for those still invested in the false reality but it's a reality that's unsustainable anyway. How can a system that expends 10 joules of energy for every 1 joule we eat be a long term viable option?

It seems to me that some kind of collapse in the world economy might well happen and indeed might be a hidden blessing. It could accelerate our movement to sustainability - we will inevitably have to learn to live with less and discover what the prophets, guide and gurus have been saying all along - that less is more!

When we have less external distraction, the only real place to go is inwards. Its there that we'll find the answers to all our questions and all our searching. It's there that we find completeness.

So if you interpret the growing storm clouds as being quite dark, maybe you'll be able to see through them and find the silver lining?
