The Back of the Intervention is Broken - Time for Humanity to Break Free!

Submitted by Open on Sat, 07/04/2015 - 06:44

So despite the Greek people voting a resounding "NO"! to financial terrorism by the powers-that-be, nevertheless, its leaders caved in and signed up to the EU bailout (for as long as that lasts!). This situation is deeply significant for all those evolving lightwarriors who've been working tirelessly in the field. The work is paying off, humanity is beginning to step out of the shadows of unconsciousness by directly challenging injustice and inequity. The system is looking decidedly shaky.

I've been saying for a while now that there have been big shifts in previous months in the underlying matrix field. A strong benevolent action back in April, which I witnessed on the etheric planes...

It was such a monumental shift, there was always going to be a corresponding effect on the surface. It was only just a question of time. I wonder if we're now witnessing the first effects of this in the Greek drama?...

Full Scale Unravelling Effect by Benevolent Consciousness

The matrix is far more than just a metaphor alluded to in the film of the same name. It has been a complex, interrelated web of energetic frequencies, that has downgraded humanity and kept him locked in a prison cell, disconnected from his higher self and thus the divine flow. It's an alien consciousness, that like a virus, has invaded the interdimensional space in which humanity has lived.

I'm sure everyone in spiritual circles would like to see an end to this matrix tomorrow. The fact is though, that practically every system of resource and support that humanity is plugged into, is underpinned by this system of control. Taking it suddenly away might sound like a good thing, but that would risk the entire planet descending instantly into anarchy and chaos. Why would the majority work, if they aren't being paid for it? (money is only created by excessive debt laden consumption, which is sustained by the system; a large proportion of this exploitation - and therefore the support people rely upon - would cease the moment the matrix ceases).

Quite apart from that, what's not being realised by those asking for the immediate breakdown of the matrix, is that it's created by what people are being within. Humanity has unconsciously thus far handed over personal sovereignty to disreputable leaders and corporations. Unconsciousness has created it, and only increasing consciousness can unwind it. Which tends to happen progressively, rather than in one single jolt.

Progressive Unwinding

So the matrix will be unwound progressively. Since 2012, various layers of the intervention have been successfully peeled off. It's accelerated the worldwide awakening (for those able to embrace the shifts). Many will not be fully aware of the changes, but nevertheless, it will increasingly feel as though veils are falling away - they'll feel lighter, more alive, more empowered. It left the dense raptor consciousness very exposed - that consciousness of excessive consumption (which some call the 'reptilian energy').

This raptor virus, is a collective 'hive' consciousness. Which is why it has been so pervasive, resistant and strong. But it is also brittle, depending on centralised control. In the benevolent action that I experienced, the 'omega' entity or lead consciousness, was removed, taken through time and space, to a different place in the cosmos, one more commensurate with its vibration. This may sound a little 'out-there' to some, but nevertheless, it's what I experienced happening in the Fourth Density.

Since that moment, I knew there would be an unravelling effect on the surface - in the 3D. I also suspected it would result in an initial tightening of fear based control, as the powers-that-be, heavily influenced by this energy (mostly unconsciously), steadily lose their grip. That indeed has been the case. You can literally feel the grasping at last ditch straws through the ether (and there's plenty of 'false flag' surface evidence).

I've also witnessed amazing breakthroughs in the spiritual work I'm involved in with Openhand, which would not have been possible prior to this momentous occasion. Namely, the reptilian entities are now much easier to remove from people's field's. They're must less resistant to rejoining the karmic cycle of reincarnation - leading to a realignment with the light. Either that, or they are more easily dispatched into the galactic core, thereby undergoing 'absolution' - being dissolved back into the Source.

How might this deeper cosmic shift be related to the current situation in Greece?

The global financial system has been propped up by the intervention for many years. That's why, just as it's all looked like falling over, they've managed to control the show and cobble things back together again. It's all a part of the underlying intervention agenda of resource control and exploitation of Mother Earth.

The European Union is a crucial - central - part of the global controlling system; it's a fundamental representation of unique, individual cultures and countries, handing over personal sovereignty to a greater collectivised power.

It's reflecting humanity's karma, which is now bubbling up to the surface. The time has come to reclaim personal sovereignty.

That's why the Greek people's resounding "NO!" vote was so significant and impressive.

The Greek government had initially called on its people to reject the joint proposals of the European Commission, the European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund which would release bailout funds only in exchange for Greece committing to years of austerity measures. The Greek finance minister said the “troika” of lenders had tried to “instil fear in people” which was tantamount to "terrorism". Nevertheless, the parliament caved in and agreed to the bailout.

Let's be crystal clear: this is by no means the end of the story. Even the IMF said they believed the bailout to be unsustainable. It's highly likely to bubble to the surface again, as the Greeks express their disatisfaction with these strong arm tactics. The EU set up is fundamentally flawed; there are likely to be deep reverberating ramifications in the global financial markets looking forwards.

Austerity will come whether we like it or not, because humanity has been living way beyond sustainable means. But the system is broken and we need to unplug from it. It's time to take the bitter pill now, that people can begin the healing/empowering process just as soon as possible.

I'm not saying it's going to be easy. But it's necessary.

What does this all mean for evolving people?

Do not continue as if today were yesterday. You cannot depend on the system to last indefinitely. It won't. It will surely break down over time - likely to be replaced by fairer systems as human collective consciousness rises. But these too will be short lived, since the intervention has kick started irreversible tipping points, which will ultimately break down the Earth's Biosphere, which we're already strongly witnessing in the gathering pace of the Earth's Six Mass Extinction.

But this is nothing to fear. All realities come and go. A New Paradigm is awaiting people in a higher vibration of being. The shifts will look dark and disastrous to the majority, but they're also providing a vital mirror with which to self-realise, to become fully conscious, to know yourself as a cosmic being. It's time to dive all-in to your self-realisation, leading to Ascension.

So dramatic change is coming. What immediate steps should you take? Only your soul can tell you for the locality and unique situation you live in. Learn how to listen carefully to your soul, and follow it, step by step...

But don't expect the path to be easy - mastery never is. You'll have to expand through dense layers of consciousness; release lingering implants and entities; reactivate your kundalini and process life-times of karma. The good news is, that the interdimensional landscape is now leveling, so it's getting ever clearer which direction to take.

We observe the path leads people through the Five Key expansions of consciousness - the 5GATEWAYS. We'll be guiding explorations of these on the upcoming 5GATEWAYS World Tour this autumn. Here are the dates and locations...

Fantastic news!!! I appreciate the insightful article.
I have been following this with trepidation, and I am overjoyed that the people have stood up and said 'no more' It feels monumentus.
I feel as though the foundations of transformation have been layed by all those reaching for a more unified world. There is something for us to stand on now, and offer a hand to those wanting to step away from an out dated system and into the unknown that is beckoning us forward.
Exciting times indeed.

Nice article open. Its good to see hey : )
I always find it interesting how shifts on other dimensional planes manifest out, and the direct experience one may have with them on different levels.
I resonate too with the feeling some tipping point has already been reached.
One thing (more personal) I dont feel the new paradigm. I sense Im destined elsewhere. So my question is who do u feel are the main candidates to continue on with Gaia in the 5th?

I'm excited to see what effect that will have to the rest of Europe, especially Germany where I live. I am sure the powers that should not be will use the press to indoctrinate people that the greeks are bad people and living on our costs, but people here are loosing trust in the mainstream media rapidly. The circulation of nationwide newspapers is dropping to hit rock bottom. Alternative media are gaining views instead.
As David said, I feel there really is a foundation to build a solid new way of living together and taking back sovereign back to ourselves.

Very exciting indeed. Now I do understand why football fans are so happy when their club is winning the game. Feels like my club is winning the game now : )

This is excellent news - breaking free!

How fascinating that all five posters so far on this article are male! There has to be something in that (that I haven't figured out yet).

Zac - indeed - not everyone who ascends is staying here with Gaia in the 5th. How awesome that you feel this already for yourself :)

David - fab to see you here - it's been a while!

When we look at Iceland and their approach to financial 'ruin' I wonder if Greece could learn anything from that experience?

I salute the warriors of Greece for standing together to unshackle their chains. Mazel Tov! What a shining example of outstanding courage in the face of immense hardship and instability. I feel braver looking on. The song "Do you hear the people sing?" from Les Miserables keeps running through my head and heart.

"Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!"

High Five!

Thanks for the video Oliver (and the other comments guys). I've posted it here...

As you can see, there is no easy future for the Greeks (nor any of Europe....nor the world!). We're coming to the end of bailout - which effectively means borrowing from tomorrow's resources and energy to fund excessive consumption today.

Whether it be Europe, America or Asia... it just won't work anymore!

Let's be crystal clear, the way humanity is currently living is way beyond sustainable. What's needed - what will inevitably happen - is the breakdown of the system over time. As these economies fragment, yes the powers-that-be will keep trying to cobble them together. Why? Because it's the only last straw they have!

But as rightly pointed out in the case of Iceland, when they kicked out the banksters (and in some cases jailed them), what's worked for them, is to come together again in sustainable, self supporting communities. As I understand it, after much self imposed austerity and reshaping, they're now pretty much self-sufficient. It's what I've seen coming in the future. It's a way for humanity to bridge successfully into the Higher Paradigm as the consciousness of the Earth progressively shifts.

I've written about this in Divinicus.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

William Ernest Henley (1849–1903)

Its good to be reminded of this again...and that beautiful film, and that beautiful life. I was living in Botswana(just north of South Africa) when he passed, with my supervisor who is from South Africa. All were stunned, even though he had been failing in health for quite some time. When it finally happened, really nobody was prepared...

I walked into my local newsagent today, and found it very interesting to note what they were reporting on and what not. This situation with Greece is the most important to affect the EU in a decade, that will likely go on to affect the entire financial system. Yet only one newspaper - the Guardian - had something about it on the front page. The rest seemed full of distractive 'business-as-usual' stuff. It's clearly intentional - they want to keep the gravy train rolling at all costs.

What is it with mainstream leaders when they get into 'power'? Do they get some kind of chip inserted that causes them to lose all sense and sensibility? I sometimes think that...

Having won a landslide victory from his people NOT to cave into the EUs "financial terrorism", the Greek Prime Minister has now accepted a bail-out plan with extremely similar demands. Hmmm. For all those interested (and perhaps a touch confused), here's the article in the UK's independent...
Did Greece just submit the same proposals 61% of Greeks voted against?

I have to say it was probably bound to happen. There will probably be plenty more attempts at 'cobbling it together' before it all falls apart.

Here's what Nick Farage of the UK's Independence Party had to say. Although Openhand does not endorse any particular political party, I find this advice to the Greek PM incredibly aligned with the flow of what really wants to happen...

I'd never heard of Nigel Farage, but if this speech is in any way typical of the man and his perceptive integrity, I may need to revise my opinion of politicians! Both praising and encouraging is very inspirational.
"If you've got the courage" seems there's always another step to take no matter what the situation is.

Politics is probably the last topic on earth that I feel inpired (and educated) to speak on....however the energy with which this individual Nick Farage speaks in this clip is so inspiring...that he is saying this may not be pretty for quite a while, but it's sovereignty that they are speaking of and that is what matters more than any material's taking back there own sense of what matters and being free to create communities that serve the whole - that value every being. I am sure I don't "get" the whole political message...but the passion he speaks with really came through and touched me.

The world looks to Greece but what happens in China can have devastating effects worldwide. It seems that the "system" is exhausted. Greed, the exploitation of man by man, selfishness, Matrix ... is coming to an end. I hope the love of neighbor and community life is the answer. Just think that 1% is spent on arms would disappear worldwide hunger in the world ... We are all brothers, all come from the same energy . EGO and Samsara is transmuted into consciousness and Peace.…

Hi john,

Yes I've been aware of the China stock market crash too. Of course many of the companies depend on trade with Europe and America. So it's all interconnected. But there's a 'lynch pin' in all events and circumstances and those lynch pins can apparently be quite small. It feels to me as if the situation in Greece could be catalysing a deeper shift.

Okay, so this Eurozone/Greece situation is becoming deeply revealing of the state of the financial system and how the powers-that-be try to exert their influence. You may be understandably tired of politics and the deeply redundant financial system, but nevertheless, it affects every one of of lives (for a while longer!), therefore it's important for us all to take note...

The Greek Prime Minister won a staggering 61% support of his country to reject the "financial terrorism" by the EU leaders, the European Central Bank and IMF. At this stage, as I understand it, there's also still a majority in the country that wants to remain in the EU - including the Greek PM. Which is why he's still at the negotiating table for further bailout funding.

So here's the next twist in this sad and sorry tale. The EU have now issued an ultimatum. In order for Greece to stay in the Euro, they have to agree to the following terms as soon as possible, and at the latest by Wednesday...

"The proposals on the table call for measures including new laws on the VAT and pension systems, the reform of bankruptcy rules and the privatisation of electricity transmission. A particularly controversial suggestion is for €50bn in Greek assets to handed in escrow to eurozone authorities, and sold off if Athens fails to meet its reform promises."

Are they serious? Really? To expect a country to come to some kind of consensus on all of these issues in less than three days? To me, it simply reveals the desperate strong arm tactics of the powers-that-be who are rapidly losing grip, and not just that, but any lucid rationale of authentic reality.

It's head now clearly stricken off, the body of the 'snake' is twisting and writhing, in what appears to be, the beginnings of its final death throws.

I feel compassion. But nevertheless, the old system must die, that the new can be fully reborn, to include as many evolving souls as possible.

Make no mistake, these are extremely positive signs. Whereas previously the system of control was deeply rooted in the collective psyche, it is now clearly being revealed in its controlling redundancy. It serves no one, has only ever been limiting, and is now beginning to break apart. Don't expect it all to disappear in a flash. It will still take time. But humanity and the planet have turned a very important corner. It's going to get very interesting from here on in.

It is beyond heartbreaking to witness the suffering generated by the death throes of the old system. The ether is filled with psychic screams. I felt to share this article by Chris Hedges: "We Are All Greeks Now." In it he concludes:

"The tyranny of these financial elites knows no limits. They will impose ever greater suffering and repression until we submit or revolt. I prefer the latter. But we don’t have much time."

xxx Catherine

Yes indeed - I think it's also important to remember, that people bring it upon themselves. There's enough information out there to realise the system itself is bankrupt and defunct. People give power to the system by giving in to it - which perpetuates it and continues to subjugate people - but really people are subjugating themselves.

One of the first reactions to the new bail-out proposal by one of the Greek MPs was... "Only if we face fate standing upright do we kill death."

Here here!

Yes, it is crucial to remember that we bring this exploitation upon ourselves. I do my best to share articles that speak to taking individual and collective responsibility for what we create. The majority are caught up in the blame game, us against them, victim versus aggressor. All we can do is hold to our truth and find the Light beyond the contractions as we witness the escalating suffering. I get lost at times in identifying with the heartache. Jean-Michel, I'm inspired by your post, by the way you live your truth and how you inspire others to take the higher path. Thank you.

Hi everyone , i have been following this economic / monetary shift for a while now as many in the Openhand community . The Speach given my Nigel Farage is one of the best i have ever heard by a politician . It really felt expressed more by a very concerned Human capable of higher understanding + compassion . He completely gave the status of the global economic situation going on and revealing it's deep heavy limitations .
Open , from what u clearly explained as " It's head now clearly stricken off, the body of the 'snake' is twisting and writhing, in what appears to be, the beginnings of its final death throws " . That's exactly what i feel anywhere i go in the matrix since i came back from Glastonbury . I has never been so clear . It just pushes my consciousness to make more aligned Higher choices every day : consuming just exactly what's needed ; letting go of many more subtle attachment to this 3D paradigm yet feeling how i can be of a deeper change by embodying more Presence . I truly feel we might have maybe 10 years or alittle more of this twisting snake before it completely brakes down . I have been speaking to loads of people spontaneously lately about this situation and many are more fully aware of what's taking place .... i received many positive feedback loops about people taking in charge some changes within their lives ( the way they consume , the way they see the future , the way they take care of children and their own health ) . It's absolutely interesting to watch and be part of those changes .

Spot on Jean - yes my feelings too.
Keep doing what you're doing my friend.

Open *OK*

This was the comment that the BBC were running a moment ago concerning the Greece bail-out deal...

"Greece's PM returns to Athens to sell the terms of a third eurozone bailout to colleagues and coalition partners, after marathon talks."

To me that says it all.
You only ever have to 'sell' something when it's wrong.
Alignment with truth needs no selling. It just is.

... kick that can-can can you ... ?

Game Over.
Bar the shouting.
And a little more fruitless can-can of debt-debt kick-kick.
Can't actually.
Those that have lived off and lorded over countless lives for so long long are finally failing, finally falling, fast and far.
Fkd they are.
Forgive my frustrated and forthright french, my fabulous friends and folks at home.
But what a mess they are making on the way down.
Oh, and and when they hit the solid ground of Reality... well, watch out.

They have been mercilessly, tirelessly wielding the wanton weapon of debt, sucking so successfully for so long on so many.
Along with their weapons of mass destruction and their weapons of mass distraction.
They know nothing else.
Well, they're about to learn.
Such is Life.
Let's forgive them, fully, friends.
Love them.
Then maybe they can finally let the fear finally go-go.

The Truth, is out there, in there and everywhere.
Their desperate, fading, creaking, cracking lies and clever, conniving cons increasingly coming clear.
The can they can-can only continue to kick-kick heavier, heavier, ever ever heavier.
Can't can't-can't kick that can-can can't kick that can-can forever ever-ever ...
Flogging a dead can.

Mr Tripras, and your colluding colleagues almost all of whom who voted for your astonishing about-face,
against the specifically requested and clearly expressed will of the poor, proud, put-upon, people who put you in power for the purpose of expressing said will.
What happened to you?
Compromised, blackmailed, bribed, bullied?
Or just lost and confused in a dark, hard place?
I try not to judge.
Your choices will bite you in the backside, beaten buddy.
Big time, bad time, and quick time.

Mr Farage.
I admire your clear words on independence and sovereignty.
And you mean them, I feel.
But what do you actually offer, sir?
A different subjugation to a different power is all.
You and your pay masters.
Meet the new big bank boss.
Same as the old big bank boss.
You talk only of the differences between us.
Never our Unity.

Politics means People.
But when we hear the word we think of Power.
Parties making their plays.
Playing their partisan games.
Our lives is the ball.
Their personal profit is their primary purpose.
Will we ever get reps who talk of The Love and The Light in us all?
In this system's set-up?
Hmmmm ... ?

Nattering with a neighbour.
He was in Greece on holiday.
Skint the whole time because the ATMs were on holiday too.
Get used to it, I said.
Its the greeks not paying taxes, he said.
Its a lie, I said.
Its the banks, I said.
He couldn't hear that.
The paper got there first.
And the Beeb.
Owned they are.
It was them over there they say, again and again.
Pointing while their pilfering perfidious pals pick our pockets, again and again.
Oldest trick in the book.
Get with it, brother.
At least he had a tan.

Right then.
Those of us that are aware and awake.
What's next?
Press Play for a New Game.

Sorry sounding so shouty.
Not very discursive of me on this discussion board.
I just started writing and this is what came on out.
Tongue in cheek, dribble on keyboard.
My little temporary relative truth-telling.
I'm saying what I'm feeling from now on.
Can-can you tell-tell?
Oh do tell.

With Love, always, brothers and sisters, Love always.

Inspired by Rich's poem, and the synchronicity of a song that came on the radio after I read the poem:

To the tune of American Pie by Don Mclean

A long long time ago
I cannot remember how
the raptor conscious came to be
But I knew if I had the chance
the synchronicity would make me dance
and we'd be happy for a while.

But lifetimes past did make me shiver
I sought the comfort of the river
Matrix on the doorstep
I couldn't take one more step

I can't remember if I sighed
when I read about the Greeks' divide
something touched me deep inside
the day the matrix died.

Bye, bye 3-D Matrix goodbye
Left my Chevy at the levee cause there's no need to drive
And those banker boys were drinking whiskey and rye
Singing' this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die

Who did write the book of love
And do you have faith in other dimensions above
If the Matrix won't tell you so?
Do you believe in rock and roll
Can surrender save your mortal soul
And can you teach me how to breathe real slow?

Well I know that you're in love with fear
and geed produces not a tear
you concocted quite a ruse
to keep us from getting the clues

I was a lonely teenage broncin' buck
with intuition and a pickup truck
And I knew I was in for luck
the day the matrix died.

I started singing bye bye raptor matrix goodbye
Left my Chevy at the levee cause there's no need to drive
Them banker boys were drinking whiskey and rye
Singin' this'll be the day that we die
This will be the day that we die.

Helter skelter in the summer swelter
no more need for a fallout shelter
dimensions high and coming fast
as we joined hands in the grass
the bankers tried one more pass
with the matrix on the sidelines in a cast

Now Mother Earth was sweet perfume
And synchronicity played a marching tune
We all got up to dance
because now we had the chance

'Cause the bankers couldn't take the field
and Openhand refused to yield
All that is was at last revealed
the day the matrix died.

We started singing bye bye raptor matrix good bye
Left my Chevy at the Levy cause there's no need to drive
Them banker boys were drinking whiskey and rye
And singing this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die.

Oh, and then we were all in one place
Transfigured into another space
And now we've time to start again
So come on all you seekers, and do be quick
Ascension is a spiritual kick
'Cause fear is the raptor's only friend.

Oh as I watched the global stage
the matrix clenched in fits of rage
I heard the death-roll knell
of the matrix broken spell

And as the spirits climbed high into the night
to the fifth dimension golden light
I saw animals laughing with delight
the day the matrix died.

They were singing bye bye raptor matrix good bye
Left my Chevy at the Levy cause there's no need to drive
Them banker boys were drinking whiskey and rye
and singing' this will be the day that I die.
this will be the day that I die.

I met a soul afraid to choose,
I told her of the happy news
but she just cried and turned away...
I sat down near a sacred stone
a third eye chakra special zone
But the matrix said it was the end of days...

And in the streets, the children dreamed
the lovers cried and bankers screamed
But not a word was spoken
the church bells all were broken

And the triad I admire most
Spirit, Heart and Mindful host
We ascended to a higher coast
the day the matrix died.

Hey tigger,

Lovin' it ...

Left my Chevy at the levee cause there's no need to drive
And those banker boys were drinking whiskey and rye

Rich and Tigger!

Your clever ditties are so cool! They add a much welcomed lightness and burst of joyful creativity to the sombre discussion and help me to disentangle from identifying with the suffering. You both come through as being very much the insouciant observers, allowing the disharmony to flow through you without attaching to it. Thank you!

I woke up today and felt inspired to do Open's "Healing the Wounded Dragon" meditation as part of my continuing efforts to take responsibility for co-creating the freakish, effed-up corporotocracy we are witnessing so much these days. As I'm becoming more conscious and awake, I'm gradually aligning all facets of my life more fully with the flow of divine rightness. I am much more conscious of what I buy and consume and do the research to ensure the products are cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and eco-friendly. And I'm evolving bit by bit to a way of being that consumes only what is given, as Open says. At present, I'm realigning what I eat and drink and am in month two of a Candida diet to bring my body into balance. Since I'm not drinking alcohol or consuming comfort foods, I'm much more sensitive to how I'm feeling. That in itself is very challenging but ultimately liberating since it's taking me through the pain I have suppressed and out the other side to a higher way of being. During Open's meditation, I was surprised to feel into and observe my intense emotions -- anger, judgment, and frustration included -- around wanting and needing to change myself, others around me, and the world in general. Or course, that's what got us into this matrix-y shit storm way back when: not trusting in the flow of Divine Benevolence. With the connection to Mother Earth's realigning heat and the cooling containment of Divine Benevolence during the meditation, It felt so healing to burn away some of my attachments.

Am I a fully aligned warrior: powerful, passionate, committed, and creative, who serves all life without the need to control and manipulate? No. Can I and will I heal my distortions?

I felt to share the link here to Open's "Healing the Wounded Dragon" meditation:

Well unfortunately, even though 61% of the population voted against the bailout plan of the EU, the Greek parliament has reneged on its responsibility to the people. Despite the Prime Minister himself (who signed up to the agreement) saying it "was a bad deal, that he did not believe in", nevertheless, fearful of what exit from the EU might mean, the Greek parliament (led by the PM) voted to accept the 'terroristic' terms.

But this is not the end of the story by any means.

The debt deal is a crushing one, and as even the International Monetary Fund itself has said... "probably not sustainable". It most definitely IS NOT sustainable. Because the system itself does not work. Greece (and other countries), find themselves having to borrow money just to pay the interest on the debt that they owe. Any individual whose experienced this in their own bank account knows that it doesn't work in the long run - where you're having to work just to pay back interest, without even paying down the debt. Something has to give.

And the people are rightly, vocally, expressing that in the Athens streets.

To me, this was a weak decision, by weak leaders. It is simply delaying the inevitable.

The back of the underlying intervention is well and truly broken. I can feel it. Even if that is not yet fully reflected on the surface. Expect more of this kind of instability as the old system weakens. It is time for courageous people to make courageous choices.

My heart goes out to the people of Greece. But I know you will have your day of truth. A time will surely come, where you can make real decisions about how you chose to live your lives. And of course, that will have to be balanced with the sustainability of your locality. Just as we will all come to see.

For me, it's a sad reflection on humanity's current leaders. The people deserve better. But I am also bouyed by the knowing that better will come. It is inevitable. The situation demands it.

In optimism

I found this report and article interesting (I didn't read the full report yet). Essentially they are expressing the idea of a new, more interconnected, rounded and 'considerate' economic model.…
perhaps its a small step towards a new way of approaching society/economy? and a shift in perspective.
I'm encouraged that this is in the mainstream media. and I wonder if a new way of considering the economy is at least a move towards being free of its demands and constraints completely? eventually. and a more aligned way of living on the earth.

"Ultimately, the report argues, a holistic perspective emphasizes that we are all connected to one another and to the planet"

in regards to today's 'leaders', and as an interesting mirror to the Greek PM's latest 'leadership' actions, I've been inspired to read about the pope's latest speeches. I wouldn't endorse mainstream religion personally but its interesting what he's been expressing, and the timing of it.

Pope Francis who chose the name because he felt affinity with the values of the saint (Francis), has expressed quite a lot recently against capitalism, austerity, inequality, and about the importance of climate change action. He's also been calling to young people to take a stand for themselves and shake things up! How radical is that? a Pope who actually wants to change the status quo! Exciting times.……

Also I saw the Dalai Lama made an appearance at this year's Glastonbury festival. Although the actual speech was very simple, and perhaps wasn't that amazing (in my view), it was interesting he made an appearance there.

It feels symbolic that some leaders at least (and interestingly religious leaders too) are connecting with the people and standing up and expressing, and talking about the condition of the world. actually quite inspired by what I read about the pope's speeches!

Rich, I think you nailed it with the "kick the can can" :-)

Quite honestly I did not have a good feeling after the Greek elections...I wanted to but I suspected the election was a ploy, a tactic by the government to get a little more time. But I was totally surprised at the speed at which this new agreement with the EU bankers came to be. I trust governments about as much as I trust banks and Goldman Sachs....and Monsanto.

Catherine, I had to look up the word "insouciant"! You feel things so deeply but I can see it takes a toll on you. I find for myself when I become too much at the affect of things, I have to do something spontaneous and silly to lighten myself up. I have often wondered if every human being on the planet all started laughing at the same time, wouldn't the vibrations of joy help shatter the illusions.

Ben, that was an interesting read about the holistic perspective to commerce: the whole rather than the individual parts. I kind of close my ears to mainstream religion, but perhaps I need to keep one ear open :-)

The pope is a fascinating personality and shining a bright light. He immediately after his election changed the protocol, refused to wear the red papal shoes and the golden cross. He kept on his old black shoes and his iron cross. He doesn't live in the papal palace but in a hostel. He has direct contact to the people everywhere, which drives his security round the bend. He calls people at home, walks in the streets, refuses to use the papa mobile and so on. He has started cleaning out the secret and mafiotic finances of the church, has excommunicated the members of the Mafia, is for the priesthood of women, homosexual marriages, dialogue between the religions and the list goes on. This is not widely known but mostly information I have found in Italian newspapers. I have always been opposed to the Catholic Church especially, but this pope is my hero and a real hope. He doesn't expect to live long, though, as he has openly said.

Hi Helen
that's really interesting, quite radical huh? thanks for sharing.
Yes, I imagine its quite a challenge to that whole structure, if he's so outspoken in those ways, and its pretty great for a leader with a following of millions and surrounded by such archaic tradition and doctrine to go out on a limb like that. I find it pretty inspiring. Also he's from a poorer country, so perhaps that makes a difference in his motivations?

Ben :-)

Yes indeed, the current Pope does appear to be quite progressive.

Here are some of his words...

“Do we realize that that system has imposed the mentality of profit at any price, with no concern for social exclusion or the destruction of nature?”

“This system is by now intolerable. So let’s not be afraid to say it: we need change; we want change.”

“It also calls for decisions, mechanisms and processes directed to a better distribution of wealth, the creation of sources of employment and an integral promotion of the poor which goes beyond a simple welfare mentality.”

“We get sick, for example, due to inhalation of large amounts of smoke produced by fuels used for cooking and heating. This is added to by….fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and toxic pesticides in general.”

“It also calls for decisions, mechanisms and processes directed to a better distribution of wealth, the creation of sources of employment and an integral promotion of the poor which goes beyond a simple welfare mentality.”

Of the industrial military complex, he said...

“the industry of death, the greed that harms us all, the desire to have more money.”

I am a bit cautious about trusting the pope. For me it sounds like "We need a World Government". I don't think that it is even possible for someone to climb the ladder in the catholic system to become pope if he is not aligned with the agenda. And in my view their agenda is "the new world order".
But maybe I am completely wrong.

Some more interesting facts about what is going on in Greece.

Greece has been victim to regime changes via military putsch through NATOs secret army called gladio several times in recent history. This time again it seems like the powers that should not be are trying to install a new government. Varoufakis already had to go because the troika just refused to continue negotiation with him. Maybe he wouldn't have signed the papers like Tsipras did, against result of the memorandum. Politicians in Greece are likely to be under extreme pressure and probably even death threads.

In 2002 Greece paid 600Mio Dollar to Goldman Sachs for fudging their economic balance sheet to be able to join the european union. It was of great importance to the NATO that Greece would not become a communist state because of it's strategic position. And as we all know the NATO is driven by the US (Research veto rights and number of votes).

So the USA's GDP is still driven with 50% by the military complex. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but with all the austerity programs being installed in Greece, no cuts to the "defence" sector are suggested. They should even increase their spendings on armament.

Another interesting fact is that in the Aegaen see there are vast amounts of oil and gas. You can see that on satellite images the nasa has published for the whole globe. Or just search the web (…). So it's really interesting with this background that the IMF & EU is trying to force Greece so sell it's public sector. Which of course includes the energy companies. So the market is open to foreign companies. And would not even be a free market, because the IMF would be supervising, so if China would wan't to buy the energy sector, the IMF could say nahhh, we have a better offer here and give the deal to a US company. And by the way, did anyone hear about in the mainstream media that the BRICS banks and eastern states (like China) offered to help Greece financially? China for example had a interims currency for national payment transactions, not bundled to the fiat money system, so that the economy could regenerate and investments in to the public sector became possible again. I think it was in the 80th, can't find a source right now. Of course you would need a bank owned by the state to do so.

I think we should always try to see the bigger picture. In my view the Problem is in the monetary system which creates money out of thin air (fiat money) and then lends it to states that have to pay it back with interest. It's not about the money at all. It's about to get a state under the control of the monetary system. Get them to spend a lot so the debt is too high to ever pay it back and you can suck them dry and otherwise threaten them with cutting the drug (money). Our society became addicted to the temptations of kapitalism. But as Henry Ford said: "It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."
In my view the most important thing that everyone can do right now is to declare once solidarity with the people in your neighbourhood. Go to your neighbours, talk to them, find synergy effects. And if they are still on the needle of the capitalism, help them to educate them selfes. What a great site you found for example Fiona! And then it's about to declare solidarity with all people on planet earth. It's not the american people that are corrupt and ruthless. It's the system they are living in as we all have to. Until now. Solidarise with the greek people. 3 mio greek people are without health insurance. There are reports about women only going to hospital in thelast month of their prangnancy because they have to pay in cash and in advance. Children who break an arm or something are send away if their families can't pay for the treatment.
And especially the german people need to stand up and say no to the fascist dictatorship that is promoted and pushed by Schäuble and Merkel to our neighbours, to our brothers and sisters. It's been only 60 years we've been there. We need to not look away!

They are in deep fear about what will happen with Greece. Because Spain, Portugal, Italy and even France are just waiting to follow. When the EU breaks down, the NATO breaks down and then a powerful arm of the American empire breaks down and probably the economy of the USA with it. The control system is staggering. But now is not the time to celebrate. It's time to go deep within and unravel our own attachments to the system, find a higher truth in alignment with all life and then live it.

Can you hear that? That's the sound of me cheering and clapping. I REALLY appreciate this thread Open and ALL of the responses to it.

Fiona, I love the article - even just the first heading "Using the stress of uncertainty as fuel for innovation" is invigorating and makes clear the opportunities available to us at this time.

Oliver, as for trusting a politician - and in my world religious leaders are politicians - well, let's just say I'm sceptical....

I have nothing to add to this thread, just my support and appreciation.

Fiona, what a wonderful article! After I first read it I went outside to do chores, and was gifted with the presence of several hummingbirds. And they just reinforced for me the importance of joy and laughter, creativity and lightness regardless of the machinations of the matrix.

Oliver, I have a feeling that it is going to take a cataclysmic event to shake the moorings loose and bust open the illusion and control. I think it is going to take a total collapse of the world-wide monetary system, perhaps combined with some devastating natural phenomenon.

Well said, Oliver.

I don't know if you're familiar with the sorry tale of Pope John Paul 1st.
He was a good man.
Murdered after 30 days in office.
Which was tragic, and not dissimilar in political importance to the assasination of JFK, if less well known.
Both coups.
Probably the same people behind it, ofc.
He would have made changes the Power didn't want.
There are many good hearted catholics, and he got voted in to the top slot.
Maybe this one is a good man too.
I dunno.
The last one definitely was not.
He was in charge of the office thatdealt with paedophile priests for 25 years while so much dreadful abuse went on - his responsibility was to protect the priests and the church, at the expense of the abused children.

And yes .. while the current money sysetm is dominant meaningful political change is a great deal harder to achieve.
And yes .. protecting it, and the debt-based power derived from it, is so much of what all these shenanigans are all about.

This is an interesting bunch -
And they're making waves in the mainstream consciousness.
Lots of good info on the site.

Love always,

So grateful for all the uplifting inspiration that abounds in these challenging times as we transition to a more connected, ecological, and sustainable way of being. Here are a few sources that came my way today:

Article from Common Dreams on "Soulless Economics" by Robert Keohler, Peace Journalist, and Author of "Courage Grows Strong at the Wound."

"...Imagine a currency that serves a humane, intelligently conceived economic system, one that has at its core an awareness that all life is sacred. Imagine this reality reflected, rather than spurned, in every financial transaction that takes place, no matter how small, no matter how large."

Robert Koehler's "Common Wonders" website:

Website for Charles Eisenstein, author of "Sacred Economics"

"Sacred Economics traces the history of money from ancient gift economies to modern capitalism, revealing how the money system has contributed to alienation, competition, and scarcity, destroyed community, and necessitated endless growth.
Today, these trends have reached their extreme - but in the wake of their collapse, we may find great opportunity to transition to a more connected, ecological, and sustainable way of being."
