Communication is certainly an area I'm also struggling with. I have found that if I feel I need a book for guidance in communication it's more likely I'm trying to avoid direct confrontation with others, which is absolutely necessary at times. I find it's vital to be absolutely honest with my own motivations. Am I afraid of being judged? Do I need to be liked by others? What do I need from them? Once I get clear within myself, the words would simply come, I just know what needs to be said. Yes, the words could hurt, but what matters is the truth, the truth of my heart, and also others need to hear the truth even though they may not like it, it's good for them!

Anyway, that has been my experience.
