Personally I'm always very wary when people make such sweeping bold statements. Firstly each of us is unique and we each have a subjective view on reality - even in enlightenment our experience of the absolute is subjective.

It is also prone to distortion. If you take the view (like me) that we as the seer are infinite potential before all experience arises, then any experience is a distortion of this absolute truth. So to cut a long story short, we each experience our own view of reality and our own truth and each truth is equally valid.

Having said that, in terms of saying "we cannot reach the final ascension without practicing tantra" - I would tend to agree BUT (and its a big "but") I would be referring to the wider understanding of what tantra really is.

In my experience tantra is not just limited to sex. Its about learning to be completely in the physical experience and yet not identified with it or lost in it. In my truth Tantra can be experienced in eating, walking, reading, watching and even sleeping (to name but a few).

I don't believe you need a spiritual partner to complete one's path - although again I would like to be very specific about what I mean. I mean that we don't need to have a physical partner although it can help greatly - but even to say that is potentially a misnomer - we are each walking a unique path and maybe our journey in this lifetime is to experience self realisation alone - there are countless examples of people who've taken this approach.

It could also be that our soul mate remains in spirit during our incarnation so it feels like we are alone and yet they may be helping to shape a mirror for us.

Generally, my recommendation would be to avoid teachings offering bold statements of absolute truth. How can one person possibly know the path for every other sentient being in existence?

I agree with what your saying.

Much of what they seem to be stating seems unreasonable.

There seems to be quite a lot of talk about hells and inferno's etc. on that site... Gets me wondering.. Isn't it supposed to be about joyfulness instead of fear?
I guess I have always wondered about the hidden side of things- the "esoteric". So I thought I would ask about it.

While I'm on the subject of the esoteric- What do you make of the theosophical societies teachings?

I was reading a site last night that was linking them to the so-called NWO etc. All very fear based I know- but these topics seem to be on many peoples minds...
The site mentioned "share International" and the "re-appearence of Maitreya" and how its all some sort of mind controlling conspiracy. It goes on to say that many people up high in political circles are involved etc. etc. pretty crazy stuff!

While I'm here typing, I'd also like to ask about what you think is going on with the whole 2012 thing..
This seems to be on most the internet worlds mind! hehe
What, if anything, do you foresee happening around the 2012 date?
