First let me say "welcome!" to the Openhand forum - we are pleased to have you join us

As you know our spiritual development takes place in stages. We're always being invited to go deeper and peel away new layers. Here at Openhand we consider there to be five key expansions which we call Gateways of Light (you can read about them here...Gateways).

So it may be for example that we progress very quickly at first but then if we slow down for a period we're being required to go deeper into our own sense of self.

From the Openhand perspective spiritual evolution is about self realisation. I often observe when people offer clairvoyant readings there is a tendency for one person to tell another their truth when in reality it is up to us to discover the truth for ourselves. For that reason I observe the best clairvoyants are firstly those who have first peeled away most if not all of their own layers and who also empower people to see and feel their own truth.

In our spiritual coaching approach for example, although we might see, feel and intuit what is going on for a client, we always try to help people unveil the realisations for themselves. This way they actually understand, own and integrate the consciousness in a much more lasting and powerful way.

Interestingly you actually reveal yourself several things in your posting - its often the case that we say or write something and then answer it right away afterwards!. Firstly we can't fully and accurately facilitate another until we have self completeness. If you don't yet fully believe in yourself, how can you help another do the same? As lightworkers what we're really doing is holding up a mirror and saying "this is how you are being, does that serve you?" So you're being invited to go deeper into your own self.

It is only an identity that does not believe in itself. Strip away the attachment to identity and we drop into non-identified awareness. In this place, we are not being clairvoyant or anything else for that matter - we are being whatever authentically arises in the moment. It is an identity that then tries to own what arises. Identity needs an outcome - a result (from a reading for example). Let go of the need for an outcome and simply be you.

If we can do this, there is no longer need of self belief because there is no longer anyone "in here" to self believe. There is simply being with or without self belief. In other words their is no lack of self belief either.

The other thing that arises from your post from my perspective is that being in your heart does not mean working for free. Being in the heart means being aligned with the natural energetic flow of the Universe. Since all arises from nothing, every action must be balanced by its equal and opposite. In other words you cannot give energy if you don't receive it.

Right action means that the input and output are balanced. Since we live in a society that uses money as energy, we need money as input to ensure that we can continually output. If we don't balance our interactions with one another in this way, then we store up energetic blockages - eddy currents in the natural flow. It may mean that we become poverty conscious for example or also that we are not able to sustain ourselves doing exactly what we're meant to be doing.

My intuition tells me that you do indeed have some amazing clairvoyant gifts. However the key to fully unveiling them is to go deeper into your own self - perhaps through meditation. Understand those limitations that constrain you and peel them away until you are whole and complete - beyond the separateness of ego and identity. Then your visions will arise naturally and empower others to see their own light in you.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and welcome me to this lovely site.
Your advice was lovely and you've hit the nail on the head in many ways.
I am nervous when giving readings as i am frightened of giving the wrong information. I know this is a confidence issue for myself as my spirit guides never let me down.
I knew i was different from a young age and had encountered good and bad spirits by the age of 11.
Many mediums say i have the gift of psychic healing and when giving readings i do pick up a lot of energy when the person i am reading for has a loved one who has passed over to the spirit world.
I was deeply concerned as i didn't want to stop the readings as i love helping others.
A psychic told me i was opening to higher vibrations and this is why i was going through wahat i was experiancing.
I'd love to go on one of your workshops as where i live it's hard to find people who have an open heart and mind for the spirit world.
I'm a lover of Angels they also saved my life.
My life went through a very rocky ride and when i look back i wasn't me at all.A pack of Angel cards completly changed me i know i was guided there for a reason.
Now i have my own Angel Alter and study Angel Magic and Advanced Angel rituals.
