"Helping reawaken our divinity, find true inner completeness
and to realign with the natural evolutionary flow of the Universe”
How did it all begin?
As we awaken, it's natural to ask questions of how the universe began. What exactly is 'God'? Where did it come from? Was there anything before the start of the universe? If so, what was it?
Deep questions indeed! You're invited to share your thoughts here...
For every beginning, is there an end?
Utterly amazing. For something so mind boggling you give very clear signposts. I am eagerly awaiting the release of this book!!!
I do wonder though exactly how we experience the absolute within? How is this possible?

Tasting the absolute
The way to experience the absolute within is first to become the observer of ourselves. That is to watch our feelings, thoughts and motivations in all experiences.
This is quite challenging at first because it requires quite a radical increase in our ability to process what is happening around us - we have to be much more into the moment.
However with perseverance, our capacity increases and we begin to watch the unfolding drama of our lives more and more without being caught up in it so much.
Then we suddenly discover that everything we witness externally is created by what we are being internally. So for example, if we have attachments to something in particular - like being in relationship with a partner - then we will be tested on these attachments until we learn to release them internally.
As we become more practised at releasing attachments, at some point we realise it is the only game going on in the universe - then we can 'sit back' and relax into it. There is no longer a need for us to shape external events - we allow the truth to simply unfold.
When this happens, we begin to relinquish our attachment to our identity. That bit of the spirit that still identifies with the personality struggles with this to a greater or lesser extent but ultimately attachment to an idea of what you are disappears and you can gloriously surrender into the absolute completeness that you are.
You become the all encompassing 'seer', in and through all things. This is when you are being the an expression of the absolute.
In my truth, the absolute cannot be experienced because it is infinite potential out of which experience arises...AND the divine paradox is it can be experienced as the total lack of experience.
This is the experience then of the absolute - the void, or the supreme being. It is in and through all things and when we have surrendered enough identity we get to taste it inside ourselves.
For me when I am in this place, then thought, word and deed arise spontaneously and effortlessly from it. There is no one 'in here' conceiving of the actions, they just happen.
It is awesomely liberating - the key is surrender!

Speechless!
I'm speechless. Thank you so much. This world can be so difficult to 'get'. I'm amazed actually at how you completely answered my question with crystal clear clarity. I'm literally speechless.
Love to you too.

Thanks Chris, I received two
Thanks Chris, I received two books for Christmas one on the Tao and one by Deepak Chopra called 'Power, Freedom and Grace' both have reinstated to me many truths in the essense of your teachings. It is so liberating, it’s the only way once you have had a glimpse. I find experiencing this way of being so interesting I feel like a small child waking up from a dream knowing that I am the dreamer in the dream and that my reality is that of which I choose, signposting where I am in my evolution. So many more clues appear and I am in the flow for so many more breaths each day.

Gateways in the mind
I'm not entirely sure that we can grasp in our minds how the universe began and more importantly from what exactly did it come? How can the mind for example deal with the concept of nothing when it has always known something? I sense therefore that to truly understand, we must feel and experience as much as think for surely the experience of the beginning is in each and everyone of us.
I have considered ‘the beginning’ in my new book called “Unfolding into Light”. Here is an extract from it...
”Before there was something, nothing was everything. This condition we can call ‘unity’. According to probability, there are two possibilities for what might happen to unity. It can stay as it is or divide up into parts. Because at this point time and space were limitless, then there was an infinite probability that either of both things could happen, therefore it is certain that unity would divide up. This condition we can call the ‘separation’ .
At the instant unity divides into two parts, consciousness arises between them. Consciousness is simply awareness of the difference between one thing and another. It is an experience of something going on. It is also known as ‘spirit’. It is important to recognise however that, you cannot separate consciousness from the individual parts - in fact the separate parts are formed of consciousness. So what you really have are not unity and separation but ‘unity consciousness’ and ‘separate consciousness’.
Once unity has divided into two separate parts, there is now nothing to prevent it from further sub division. According to probability, an unstoppable chain reaction is sure to ensue resulting in the ‘big bang’ although a more appropriate description might be ‘the big flow outwards’. What we can see of the big bang is merely what is going on in ‘positive time space’, in other words what we witness in the physical universe. Since the flow outwards came from nothing, it must also be balanced by an equal and opposite flow inwards. This happens in ‘negative time space’ what you might refer to as ‘quantum space’. It is as if the absolute is both breathing outwards and inwards simultaneously.
To better understand this, you could envisage the universe as a pond. If you as the absolute cast a pebble into the centre, then ripples will flow outwards. Or at least they appear to flow outwards. In fact the water is not moving outwards at all, it is only the disturbance that is moving. The water particles are simply moving up and down. They don’t move anywhere because there is an undertow pulling the waves back to the centre. The two forces are balanced. So in the material sense, that which is above the surface of the pond’ we observe as a flow outwards to ever increasing separation, what science calls ‘disorder‘. We witness the effect in the physical universe as the ‘every man for himself’ syndrome. It is what Professor Atkins referred to as an ‘increase in positive entropy’. Underneath the surface of all events is the opposite, the organising pull back to oneness. Science observes it as ‘increasing negative entropy’ although love sounds much better!
The pull back to the centre caused the separate parts to gather in clusters which, over billions of what we have come to know as ‘years’, formed gases which then condensed as liquids and solids. Planets are formed and then life on the planets and so we witness what Darwin referred to a ‘evolution’. All the while there is a driving force pulling the parts back to unity. This unity consciousness evolved into an intelligent life force now shining a light through the entire universe guiding us all back home. You and I are that light.
Some scientists would argue that no such intelligence exists but Darwin himself said that for his theory of random evolution to be completely accurate, there would have to be evidence of one form of life slowly evolving into another over generations, but nowhere in the fossil records do we see any evidence for this. There is for example no record of something approximating to a horse gradually forming a longer and longer neck over successive generations until it became a giraffe. You either have a horse or a giraffe but nothing in between! When you consider the billions of different species on the planet and their corresponding fossil legacies, isn’t it strange that there hasn’t been ONE DISCOVERY of a missing link? Quite apart from that, mathematics confounds those who lack the trust in a guiding consciousness. There simply hasn’t been enough time, enough generations of simple random step changes to form something as complex as a human brain for example.”
So to me, God is the absolute - infinite potential before anything arises at all. The absolute exists through all things because space and time are illusions - everything is happening in one place in one moment. It is only our minds that create the ‘separation’ into parts - time being the space between the parts, what Einstein called ‘space time continuum’.
So all experiences that we are having are a dynamic equilibrium between a flow outwards to separation and a flow inwards to unity - AT THE SAME TIME.
In truth, nothing really exists at all, it is just the experience - a dream if you like - that is happening.
Quantum theory completely supports this. For example if we were to take all of the space out of the matter forming our bodies, there wouldn’t be enough of the solid stuff to fit on a pin head! But even that part is not solid. It consists merely of packets of energy - consciousness - called ‘quanta’.
These quanta exist everywhere and nowhere at once - we can in fact only talk of a probability that they exist at a given point in space in time. What’s more, they only arise out of the background field of consciousness when they are observed by something. When we stop looking, they dissolve once more into the quantum ‘soup’.
So we are not really real at all! That’s why it is fine for me to refer to the absolute dividing into ‘separation’. The words are just as real as the matter in your arm!
So to summarise, in every point in space throughout the universe is the absolute - nothing/everything simultaneously. You and are are merely an experience of that. As soon as we close our eyes however, everything that we think is real dissolves just like the disappearing spot on a switched off TV!
Mind boggling isn’t it?
