I have experimented with many types of clothing and how it effects Chi. Basically man made fibres such as polyester tend to disrupt the even flow of chi around the body. Also, tight clothing or excessively warm clothing will do the same.
Much better are natural fibres such as wool and cotton. If the clothing is loose, there is a free circulation of air and the body has a more even temperature distribution again providing a more congruent medium for the free flow of chi.
So avoid man made fibres and go for the natural ones - no surprises really!
Great question
