At the weekend I was on an Openhand 'Way of the Heart' course and found myself at the Glastonbury Tor doing an exercise (as part of the course)where we had to walk uphill to the base of the Tor.

Here in our garden in Glastonbury we're working quite hard to encourage in as much wildlife as possible and especially birds.

Recently a baby sparrow fell out of its nest in front of our back window - it was too young to fly back so its parents have been running a continual cycle of food to keep it growing and healthy.

I am a normal 16 year old boy, and I realise it is becoming more frequent for people of my age to awaken to this, where as in the past it has been rare. Music triggers something primal in us all.

Into the west is a good song to connect to all of this, though it is sad, it is also uplifting. But the main song for me is "Now we are free", as I was having a spiritual healing and the person who was doing it said that they felt the presence of a Roman soldier or gladiator. My whole life I have felt a connection with Rome. This is not all though I have been contemplating moving house and rethinking my life, so I said to the universe "If I am meant to go, then give me a sign that I will recognise", and quite frankly, nothing would have resonated with me more. So then I bought the song from iTunes, as I had listened to it right before the healing, (which was another synchronisity), and then I typed the words "Now we are free lyrics" into google, and that led me to a link to this website. I have learnt all about spiritual awakening and setting yourself free already, however for a sign to lead me to this website, is extremely significant, so this song really did set me free, so I can now walk the rest of the path. And continue to free my soul.

Welcome to Openhand. I had a profound awakening when I was 20 years old. We are certainly seeing many more of the younger generations ready to awaken much earlier - a sign of the changes ahead.
