Light meditation/Ascended Masters of OC?

The Other David's picture

I have a lot of synchronicities around one message: "NEVER bring in any light from outside of you." It keeps and keeps coming. I do a lot of these meditations and would like to ask especially Chris and Trin about their opinion on it.

Here is a quote from a man called George Kavassilas who challenges pretty much all of the new age beliefs. He is quite full on and either totally lost it or really has something to share....

"Virtually all channelings are from a paradigm of conditional love. There are many ET races that are caught up in this energy and limited paradigm. Please be aware of any meditation technique that asks you to bring light and colour in from outside of you. Especially down through the crown chakra. Remember I previously shared that the 4thD is the dimension of the mind, well, this is how these high level 4thD beings manipulate you. Their version of ascension through the reactivation of the pineal gland is the old programme. I warned about their version of a limited ascension and sadly, I see the first stages of it all over the internet. We have all the Organic LOVE, LIGHT AND KNOWLEDGE of life within us. We do not need to bring anything in from outside of us!!!

All the Beings and ET races of the Organic Light that I have been in contact with throughout my life never ask you to bring light and energies in from outside of you in the way that these beings and their meditation techniques ask. NEVER! They honour our own sovereignty and only remind us of our interactions with life around us and the organic flow of energies.

If you want to do a meditation with light, focus on your own inner light situated in the location of the Thymus, and bring your own magnificent light out filling up your body and radiating it all around you. You may then send it to anyone or anything you wish. If you feel uncomfortable with this then you may be experiencing worthiness issues. These beings that ask you to bring their light in, eg: so called ascended masters or angels etc, are not honouring your own sovereignty and see themselves above you, as though you are a child in need of help, and therefore propagating and exacerbating the worthiness issue.

They are jealous of who and what you are, and what you are becoming. They will try everything possible to continue to impose a perspective that you are a helpless child and that only through their techniques and their light will you be safe."

I don't quite know what to do with this info.
If I see what it causes in me it is a kind of fear, on the other hand I had this same thoughts quite a few times.

Channeling ones own higher self

Hi David,

I find a good deal of resonance with the sharing you've quoted - but not completely.

I totally agree that channeling energies other than one's own is a very dangerous game to play. In my awareness, no authentic so called "Ascended Master" would take part in any action that causes one to subjugate one's own consciousness for that of another - which is what essentially happens in most 'channelings'.

Yet before we are transfigured, our own higher self is to quite a large degree separate from us. In these circumstances it can be very powerful to have the sensation of channeling the consciousness of one's own higher self down into ones being. Kriya yogis for example, who have brought much light to the world, encourage connecting above the crown chakra and drawing down ones own light.

Of course there is always the challenge to know exactly what we're bringing in. But if in the beginning we have the sense of purpose only to connect with our own higher self, we will soon discover if we're being led astray. Our own higher self has a congruence and harmony that simply feels right. It works to break down attachment, dissolving the ego - Opposing Consciousness tends to build up some form of attachment (to spiritual glamour perhaps) and never quite sits right. So if we keep watching our inner most feelings we will get it right.

I should also say, it is possible to connect with benevolent energies beyond the fourth dimension. I work with those energies now and sometimes they do activate consciousness within me - by sounding a resonant note in my field. This has a degree of similarity to what some might term 'channeling' although it is quite different. I'm never caused to subjugate my own free will. And as a new energy vibrates within me, I'm never told what that means. I'm presented with mirrors in the outside world and invited to realise for myself what the new integration of consciousness means.

As we get more and more skilled at watching the external effects of the internal consciousness causality, it gets easier and easier to read what's going on.

Inevitably, we will make mistakes. But we shouldn't be afraid to get it wrong and learn from them. At the end of the day, if we're being profoundly honest about our motivations for action, we will unravel what is pure and what is not.

I trust this helps!

higher self

Hi Chris,

What do you mean exactly by higher self? It seems that our higher selves already exist on higher dimensions and yet it's different from our soul or the seer. I can see that when we have truly integrated our high selves (or rather the higher self have integrated its disconnected 3D aspect) that's when we become fully multidimensional.

Higher power

Hi Lei, to me, the Higher Self is that part of the soul which is not yet embodied prior to Transfiguration. We're living as the Lower Self - a small part of the soul dissipated within the bodymind. So when we connect to our 'higher power', it feels like we're connecting with something outside and 'above' ourselves.

Thanks

Yes Chris, it helps. I have had a few contacts with beings and energies in the last months that were always quite spectacular. But something did not feel right.

A friend who is transfigured repeatedly warned me about any spectacular experiences and questioned wether this might serve a more ego-based need of mine. Also she warned me of meditating with the intention of bringing in the light of another being.

So that worked in me and the same message kept coming again and again.

It seems like another thing to let go of. I was very happy to connect to these beings, but yes: it made me dependent too in a way. So I will try to keep to myself now.

Thanks
David

Higher self 'indicators'

I was not sure whether to write it at all, because I'm not sure in anything now, but then I decided that I will be forgiven if I'm confusing things.

I think that it's not only with meditation, but also with asking questions or for help, guidance and receiving answers. There is a difference in a feeling, that I think I can recognise, between asking from the disempowered and weak place, when I feel I 'need' an answer or trying to push things, and hoping that somebody or something will help me out, and a place of opennes and sort of 'demand' coming from the soul.

There is some kind of common factor when appealing to the higher self.

I'm not sure yet if these always work and I'm not fooled by myself, but I pay attention to:

* expansion/contraction - I see if I hold to something and contracting anywhere, like in the chest if I'm asking for something from the place of trying to change the situation, to run away from it, or in my throat/neck if I'm forcing things during meditation or during yoga/dancing, etc.

* completeness/disintegration - if I rest within myself (even if there are restlessness of the body/mind in the background), feel complete on my own, or as if I need something from the outside to help me. This holds also when I ask for help (even physically from a person), I still make sure I'm complete and ok on my own.

*watching/directing - if I 'watch' the movie, or I try to direct, design something: like I want now the light into my body through the crown, please, aand...); the opposite case is sitting quietly, letting the body breathe and just seeing what is happening, maybe bringing attention to certain places, where I feel tight, etc. Many times what is happening is that the connection IS established first through the crown chakra anyway and then flowing down alone...Even though recently sometimes stuff begins to move from feet somehow too, as if I'm getting soaked into something below me.

*trust/doubt, fear - usually after catching myself with the first three I then see if I'm afraid of something, or want something, i.e. doubt that I will get everything I need; and then I work on opening the heart and trusting (this is what I do now, and it seems to work), no matter where I'm stuck. In my case it somehow all is released through the heart center.

Of course I'm now always catching it, and see it only after a while, and it's ok, this is an experimental and experiencial study. Also there are times that I see that something is 'wrong', but nothing helps, usually it is when I'm too determined to solve it Laughing out loud Then I just keep aware of what's going on and do nothing.

I have a question: it seems that there is some sort of circling mechanism - no matter what's going on the 'arrows' go back to myself. On the other hand I feel that sometimes it brings to too much 'self-focusing' and contracts, I mean there is too much intro, and I feel like balancing it by 'going outside'.

For example this week I play with 'illuminating out' instead of 'bringing in' or by paying more attention to what's happening around and less to how I feel'.

So it seems there is also some kind of balance act with this too. Why do I have this feeling of getting caught within myself?

Organic vs. synthetic

Following the recommendation of George Kavassilas and Chris I explored this a lot now and came to a very simple and clear way of distinguishing it.

The real light has a very "organic" feel to it (george used that word and it really resonates with me). To use a picture: If I take the image of a forest and the quality of that light, they match. It sits perfectly in my heart, like Chris has put it.

The 4D light (and many of the meditations, teachings and channelings) have a "synthetic" feel to it. It is really quite easy to feel. Just look at a few videos, do a few of the ascended masters meditations and it is quite obvious.

I could see my attachment to the stimulation the synthetic light offers - so again Chris answer was perfect when he said:

"Opposing Consciousness tends to build up some form of attachment (to spiritual glamour perhaps) and never quite sits right. So if we keep watching our inner most feelings we will get it right."

I came to understand why I love openhand approach so much: It is simple and it is organic. It is a natural unfolding. The whole process is organic.
