Absolutely.

We are mirrors, reflecting back at one another, and it seems that we attract others depending on where we are 'at' in our journey of unfolding our true selves.

Some say that "like attracts like" is a spiritual law of the universe.

If we see traits in others that really push our buttons, it could be that they are reflecting an aspect of ourselves back to us that we have repressed in our subconscious. This is a gift not to be scoffed at

There might be many people who don't resonate the same frequency as me, yet I feel rest within myself, and am comfortable in their presence (simply just don't connect with them on any soul level or feel moved to hang out with them).

Yet, if I am agitated by someone who acts in a way that disturbs or bothers me, then I have found that there is a personal lesson to learn there, as they are reflecting something (from within myself) back to me.

It can be really powerful to see our selves in others (not to mention humbling).

Hmmm, interesting question. In the world of work, we usually don't have a lot of choice with whom we are involved. A team is formed, and usually you have to fit in, or ship out. Now, how that exact constellation of people in the team arises is itself something to think about: was there an intention in the Universe to learn something from it? Certainly, I believe each team member has a significant influence on the team culture: it only takes a couple of people with downward-trending vibrational tendencies to make things pretty unsatisfactory. Anyway, it's good to know that some people are increasing their awareness in this area.

(For me) I've really found 'like attracting like' although it's only now that I'm starting to see the lessons to be learned with those who I feel pull my vibration down.

We all have friends or people that come into our lives and who, through contact with them, make us feel lifted up, loved and happy. They are the best friends ever and no matter where I am in the world, no matter what I'm doing, they are always there and make me feel special no matter what. I feel very honoured to know and love these friends.

I can also now see when my vibration is down and really recognise when I'm starting to pull someone down too. When I'm feeling frustrated or really fed up for example. For me, I've had friends who I would call when I'm down who I can moan to, and found they moan too and before we know it, it's spiralling down a really negative path of who's the worse off. AAAARGH! I had to jump off the roundabout before it sucked me in completely. Phew - it's a real learning curve and it's something I'm definately getting better at now I can see it happening.

Also, because I'm made so many very drastic changes in my life lately including moving house, job, country (!) it's amazing how many like-minded people have come in to my life in the past few weeks / months. It was a very positive move for me away from old, negative energy. For me it's a great time to welcome in new, postiive energies into my life and leave the old, draining ones behind. And along with that move and all those changes, I'm finding the people I'm attracting to my life are spiritually awakened folk who are just lovely and positive and wonderful.
