How blessed those people around you are to have you in their lives!

No, you're not the only one to be witnessing the increasing negativity within society in general. From my perspective its all to do with our Ascension. Mother Earth is culminating a transition she began in 1992 which will complete in 2012.

Basically her centre of consciousness is shifting from the 3rd Dimensional Realm into the 5th - which exists here and now and all around us but at a higher vibration. As more people awaken, they're basically attuning to Gaia in the higher dimensional plane - so their energy is shifting to that plane so to speak (even though they remain here in the 3rd dimension).

If enough people continue to resist this transition, in other words if they hold their consciousness in the lower vibration by continually wanting and needing this reality to stay as it is, then what happens is that they hold in place a growing polarity between the light and the dense. So in this plane you're likely to notice increasing negativity. It manifests for example as the growing struggle for resources - even those that are still asleep somehow perceive Gaia withdrawing her energies and consciousness into the higher plane (as an interesting aside, three species of plant and animals are leaving every hour!).

However if you tune more into the higher plane (by going within), you'll also feel the light intensifying and "quickening".

Our job here in this plane is to be a positive beacon of light. We can't change others - each of us is here to self realise. However we can influence by raising our own vibration. Service to our own higher self is the greatest service we can possibly bring to all.

So keep up the good work and fear not if it seems to get darker and darker here - it is always darkest before the dawn!

I have only recently become aware of the significance of 2012 having watched a program on the tv.
As a curiosity when were you aware of the begining of your awakening and what was it that made you aware of it?
I only ask as I am really not sure just where I am on my own journey.
I only know I am somewhere I have never been before.

Hi Eden,

My intial awakening transpired around the events leading up to a car crash in which I experienced some deeply transcendent phenomena. One of which was the Ascension of Gaia - I experienced a lucid dream with powerful visualisations of what was taking place - I've included a section from my book "Gateways of Light" which refers to it.

From this perspective and countless events that have since happened, it rests in my inner knowing that Gaia has indeed already ascended into the 5th Dimensional Realm. To me, it was a process which began in 1992 and will be completed in 2012. What I know to be happening is a shift in her centre of consciousness from one plane to the other.

However this does not mean she will cease to exist in this plane - far from it. I feel she is extending a 'super conscious bridge' enabling the rest of the planetary system to 'step across and join her'. This process will continue long after 2012 although it seems highly likely that a point will arise in the not-too-distant future where life on this planet may become completely untenable. That will depend of course on the choices we continue to make in this plane.

Hi Eden and Chris!

I've noticed since 1998 a logarithmic increase in negativity. At first I thought it was projected at me but the feelings are so overwhelming I started to think "Everyone can't be that resentful can they?" I learned about planetary shifting from reading about the Mayan calendar. I think people take that the wrong way and you get the doomsayers and Dr. Apocalypse to comment on some closed circuit religious television network were people of all walks of life miss important information.

It seems that what is causing the earths magnetic poles to shift? Shifting to a new dimension...even the bible talks of a new heaven and new earth. I think a few other religions do as well. I am curious how the "non developed" people on the planet have responded? I am inclined to think they are more than ready for the transition than our modern society is ready to eat a Big Mac!

Trying not to quantify everything but I do like to give the view of what is happening in science with that from other spirit or dimensional realms. This year solar activity seems "dead". Not one solar flare which is crucial for warming the earth as we are closer to the sun in our orbital path. That and the ocean current shutting down is bringing another ice age.

I'm a firm believer in the current Ascension process of our planetary system. In fact its not a belief at all but rather an inner knowing. From my perspective, Gaia, the soul of the earth, began the process of switching dimensional realms back in 1992 and is due to complete in 2012. What exactly do I mean by this? what will we observe and how will it effect us all?

Of course there is much speculation about what will happen in 2012. For me however, it does not signify 'end of the world' scenarios but rather a new beginning. Whether we know it or not, we are all multi-dimensional beings; we occupy different realms of consciousness in different vibrational planes of existence. Most people are not currently aware of their multi-dimensional aspect although more and more are becoming increasingly so.

Hence it may seem a little like science fiction fantasy when those of us who are experiencing expanded reality begin talking about it. That said, here goes...

In my reality, Gaia has been shifting the centre of her consciousness since 1992 into the next higher dimensional realm - the 5th Dimension and in effect currently dwells in that place - it's what we might call the "Renewed World". We can all experience this new plane when we go inside and tune into the lighter feelings of joy, love, at-one-ment (with all life) and when we begin to observe sychronicity as a flowing part of our reality. Basically we're tuning into a higher plane which exists right here in this moment.

Many people are beginning to have these experiences although they might not yet be aware they are 5th Dimensional ones. This is because we still occupy a 3rd Dimensional body which tends to interpret the experiences in a 3rd Dimensional way. In other words we apply higher knowing from higher realms to this plane of existence and kind of dissolve one into the other without really knowing it.

But as we begin to unravel the differences between the dimensions, it becomes increasingly obvious to us that we are dealing with multiple planes - it becomes possible to live in those planes as we tune in more fully. It's just like tuning in channels on a radio station. We've spent countless lifetimes believing in 'Radio 1' and continued to recreate that as our reality not knowing all the while that there's a Radio 2, 3 ,4 etc. Even when we hear the other stations, although it may sound more harmonious, we just think we're hearing a better tune but on the old station.

Now as Gaia settles into her centre in the 5th Dimension, more of us are beginning to attune to this new 'radio frequency' experiencing the higher harmony. Gaia is slowly drawing her energies 'heavenwards', hence the shift in polarities that is currently happening, the earthquakes, global warming (although man seems to be accelerating that too) and also the reason why 3 species of plant and animal are leaving this plane every hour (we call it 'extinction').

As this shift accelerates, those that are still tuned into the old reality will feel it as an increasing negativity. It is because the relative 'light' of the new dimension and the relative 'dark' of the old one are separating and intensifying. As Gaia withdraws her energy, we will experience it here in the 3rd and a growing shortage of resources - hence peak oil for example and the growing food and water shortages around the planet. Hence the intensifying struggle for resources by those still desperately trying to manipulate and control our reality (in the 3rd Dimension).

So what exactly will happen when Gaia finalises her centre in the 5th Dimension? Well, in the big picture, she will likely continue to exist in this plane for quite some time to come (maybe even many thousands of years). She is a highly advanced multi dimensional being capable of extending her consciousness into multiple realities - in my direct experience she is currently extending an energetic bridge to the rest of the planetary system that has yet to make the transition. So it doesn't feel to me like the world will 'come to an end' in 2012. It feels like it will continue although it is likely that as resources ever dwindle and as the struggle for control intensifies, we're likely to experience an increasingly rough ride (at least on the outside).

And so what might be the best way of dealing with this polarity shift? Openhand's humble advice is to surrender to it and accept it as a growing part of our reality. To disassociate (but not disengage) from the 3rd Dimensional aspect of our planet and instead to go inwards and tune into the higher vibrational experiences of love, unity and harmony with all life; to then bring that energy into our daily lives here and now. If we do that, it is our experience that we raise the vibration for all of us until eventually, those that are able to, will 'step across' Gaia's consciousness bridge into the "Renewed World".

To some reading this it may sound a little complex and we may question whether we're capable of doing it, but rest assured we all have the inner seeding to make it possible. From our perspective, we activate that seeding through a very simple choice:

"In every moment we can either tune into the density, the harshness, the difficulty, fear and worry, in other words the part that is dieing;
or we can tune into the experience of love, joy and harmony, the fearless acceptance of our immortality and inner completeness.
In which case we'll steadily unwind and unfold the inner constrictions and expand into the new reality."

Science fiction fantasy? Not in my reality!
