Has a powerful energetic Tsunami begun?
Whilst meditating over the weekend higher consciousness gave to me an image of a Bear and a very powerful warning which I felt compelled to share with you all: "Beware the Ides of March". It's a statement of course from Shakespeare's famous play "Julius Ceasar" where the emperor is warned by the soothsayers of impending disaster. So what specifically might the warning have been in reference to? Well shortly afterwards I received a link from a friend to an amazing amateur video clip on youtube. It's about how the economic financial meltdown in America is generating a growing shanti town in the once afluent (yes of all places) California...

The Markets have turned Bearish
Next I was guided to an article in the UK's Independent...Wall Street fears next great depression. Synchronistically of course "Bear Stearns", one of the largest Investment banks in the world, has just been bailed out having fallen into financial difficulty and only this morning with the stock market in panic mode, the Bank of England has just lent an extra £5 Billion to prop up the UK's ailing banking system.

Of course its not hard to understand why this is all happening. There is over $45 trillion of personal debt in the US alone - pull the economic plug on that for a short while and the deck of cards is highly likely to come tumbling down bringing Europe and many other countries with it.

In the industrialised nations we have certainly created exactly the right conditions for collapse; a globalised society where we are totally interdependent and unsustainably living from imported food, fuel and other essential resources. From my perspective, it now seems almost inevitable; the economic meltdown is gathering pace and the repercussions will reverberate around the world in the very near future. We have been living for too long way beyond our means. These are exactly the circumstances we alluded to in our video and book "Gateways of Light" (see our new updated version of the film...click here).

Although we've always stated we're not given to making predictions or prophecy, we will however call the moment how we see it. So this message is not a prophecy - from our perspective the Tsunami has already kicked off. Its simply a question of how we each perceive the unfolding reality. Do we embrace it as it really is? Or do we continue to live in some illusionary la la land?

Now is the time we've been waiting for
As the Hopi elders have also been saying - THIS is the time we've all been waiting for, the time when the truth will out. Some will call it "judgment day" but this will not be judgment from some non compassionate God-like figure external to ourselves; no, we will be provided a clear perspective of who and what we are through a globalised mirror that we can no longer turn away from - it is simply all around us. We have created the perfect circumstances to reflect back all our distortions and programmed behaviours; it will provide the perfect opportunity to rise above these and find our true inherent gifts of beingness. To me, these are not dark times at all, these are times for great courage, great endeavor and great human beingness...

So what are we going to do about it? Some will laugh, some will just sit and cry but if we are in any way at all aligned with our soul, we have an opportunity; an opportunity to find a path through the impending storm. It's not likely to be easy, but then anything that was ever worth having never was.

Fortune favours the bold
Procrastination is no longer a viable option. If we are to find a way through the impending storm, we must go inwards, connect with our soul and follow its guidance whatever the apparent personal cost. To me this is what Bear Medicine is all about; finding our primal power and discovering inner sovereignty. It’s about marrying the intuition with instinct; having the courage to make those difficult choices. We may have to let go of that job, let go of the mortgaged house, overcome addictions, release relationships that no longer serve our spiritual growth; choices which will seem to fly in the face of society's "norm". We are invited to set ourselves free from the yolk of consumeristic lifestyles and find ways of living that will be sustainable.

What might that mean exactly? Well some are already returning to the land but of course millions of us live in towns and cities - we can’t all dash off to the countryside. To me, true sustainability means finding a way that works which is not totally dependent on society’s matrix of mass human subconsciousness. Perhaps to team up with friends or family to alleviate bank debt; to grow and store our own food; to learn to live with less energy; consume less and be more resourceful. These are just a few suggested ways and when we each tune into the soul, others will quickly materialise according to the authentic way of living we’re each being invited to unveil.

For us, (for the time being at least) we're given to stay here in Glastonbury in the UK in what is considered to be the planet's heart centre. We are on hand to help those who would like to find authentic reality and accelerate their spiritual evolution; to form friendships and alliances with those of a similar perspective.
