Freak floods in the UK, fire storms across Europe and countless other seismic events occurring across the globe. It is indeed a highly energetic summer. So what exactly is going on? Can we just assign the occurrences to man’s ignorance or is there something else underneath it all catalysing the events? This Openhand Summer Newsletter seeks to shed some light on what’s going on under the surface.

A message from mother earth
For those who tune into the energetic movements within the surrounding field, you will have no doubt felt the undeniable “quickening” spreading like wild fire through our planetary consciousness. What few seem to realise is that the soul of the earth has already ascended....yes ALREADY ascended. What exactly does this mean and how does it effect us?

The universe exists as a vast ocean of consciousness - in other words light energy. It is arrayed in layers of decreasing vibration - what many call “dimensions”. Its a bit like looking down onto a pond: the “creator” has cast a pebble into the centre and ripples flow outwards steadily increasing in size until they form waves. Each ripple represents a dimension. As you get further out from the centre the amplitude (size) of the waves gets bigger so their wavelength gets longer and therefore vibrational frequency lower. It is exactly the same in our universe where the further we get away from the centre, the lower the vibrational frequency of the dimensions get and therefore the denser “heavier” they are.

Our centre of consciousness currently dwells in the 3rd dimension - a particularly dense one - that of mother earth dwells in the 5th. How come then we still experience mother earth here in the 3rd dimension? It happens because she is maintaining an energetic bridge - “a grid” if you like - of energy so the rest of the planetary system (us included) can catch up with her.

Of course not everyone sees it this way and many are still engrossed in the drama of this 3rd dimension, struggling and efforting to satisfy conditioned behaviours, programmed desires and falsely perceived needs. In so doing, they are maintaining a lower vibration which in turn fuels our consumeristic society locking millions in the old fear based reality - its like living in a kind of "time warp".

It is a reality that will not continue indefinitely. Mother earth is gathering in her energies - it is this which is causing an increasing polarity between the fear based reality and the higher vibrations of unconditional love. Those who are tuning into their soul on a moment by moment basis, are receiving amazing “downloads” of energy which is raising their vibration and stripping away blockages.

As the light gets lighter, the dark gets darker. This is why we are witnessing both the amazing awakening of human consciousness whilst at the same time, increasing selfishness, greed and ignorance which continues to rape our planet with seemingly complete indiscretion in this dimension.

So what might the way forward be? Each of us has a choice. It is a choice that takes place in every moment of our lives and it is this:

either continue to identify with the external struggle of life, efforting to control and manipulate ever dwindling resources OR instead attune to the lightness, joy and effortlessness of the soul, that which trusts in the ultimate benevolent guiding hand of the universe and follow those experiences we are internally guided to. One choice has a future, the other does not!

If we can keep attuning to the soul and continue making those choices that define our higher truth, then our blockages to the ascension energies will be removed, our vibration will rise and our consciousness will continue to unfold into the new reality.

Previously, it may have seemed like we had all the time in the world to do this but now time is running out. A window of opportunity is open before us but it won’t stay open indefinitely. Now would seem like a good time to go inwards and keep unfolding who we really are. There may be no other time!
