Is your life built on the rock of your spirituality or the sand of consumerism?
Do the recent tremors in the global banking system indicate that one of the key foundations on which our society is based is in immanent danger? Some would say so, including the Bank for International Settlements, the world's most prestigious financial body. So maybe the global consumeristic machine we've created is now teetering towards self implosion? The question has to arise how much longer can we allow debt fuelled consumerism to devour our planet? Perhaps the situation is now out of our hands - just like the dinosaurs, maybe our system has become too successful for its own good? Sustainable living
The world is becoming an increasingly uncertain place - of course in self realisation the only certainty is uncertainty! What with peak oil perhaps just around the corner and the industrialised nations increasing reliance on imported food, how about sourcing your food locally? All this week we've been exploring sustainable eating from local, plant based sources. Combating psychic attack
