Firstly welcome to Openhand, thanks for posting

Indeed there are many approaches to dealing with Opposing Consciousness and Psychic Attack. I'd say we can each intuitively deal with those energies as soon as we master how to project energy through the fourth dimension in a benevolent way (benevolent in the sense of being in the higher interests of the universe).

I'd say there's one fundamental starting point however for truly mastering energy work within the fourth dimension. That is discovering how to become "nothing in it all".

I'd say your intuition is speaking to you quite strongly and that's why your soul has drawn you to post here. Quite a few spiritual practices out there speak of building protective barriers against Opposing Consciousness. But psychic attack happens because we actually invite it in by our own distortions. And the more we try to build energy behind some kind of shield, the more of a target we become. It's like building a very bright light which draws Opposing Consciousness like moths to a car headlamp.

Now you can keep that energy out, when you are evolved enough. But whilst there is some internal non acceptance of it in some way, you build a limiting relationship - an identity - with it. In which case no matter what defence you build, it will always find a way through - it preys on your inner attachment (or resistance to it).

So our approach here in the work that we do is not to resist it at all (at least not until we're at least enlightened). In fact allowing it in can speed your evolution because it will pinpoint your weaknesses - it will show you exactly where, why and how you become fearful and close down.

So if you are open to the energies coming in and you feel attacked, the key is to watch what's going on inside and why you're being resistant. Then you can unwind your attachment and become 'as nothing in it all'. That way you don't build energy and they can't even see you. Since they're watching for energy, you simply disappear off their radar screen.

At the point you become enlightened (all karma has been processed), then you can truly begin to negate their influence by moving energy within the 4th Dimensional Field. That's not to say you can't or shouldn't begin to work with it earlier in the journey, just that it would pay to remember to keep becoming nothing in it all when we feel attacked and also accept that our energy working is not likely to be fully effective until we've passed through at least the fourth and fifth Gateways.

Some supportive information and a great link from Chris above.

I've hear of all kinds of techniques designed to protect and shield us from negative influential energies. I had a quick look at the link you sent and immediately saw a 'well intentioned' programme based on fear that certainly has created a huge target for exactly that which it is trying to negate. Your cause for concern is well founded.

The only reason that we can be 'attacked' energetically in the first place is if we have an internal receptor for the attack. The inner receptor is any blockage or distortion within us. These are the aspects that we have denied or hidden from. These are the facets of ourselves that we would rather not own up to. This is why acceptance, ownership and non-judgment of every aspect of ourselves is critical. So, unravelling our inner blockages (the target) is an important key.

If we shift our perspective and then recognise energetic attack as an opportunity to see our own darkness, then unfolding can happen rapidly.

It takes courage, patience and trust. Yet the only real way out is through

Thank you both so much for such an invested reply. It lifted me to have read it because it felt 100% accurate. Much like you describe, it now seems to me the act of protecting oneself from an energy external to self is in fact an an illusion and a dualistic reasoning process.

I have only been awakened for a year and a half and only galactically aware for about six months when I entered an on-line community. It took six months but I'm now starting to feel inconsistencies within that community (however potentially well meaning) and there are subtle and not so subtle fear programs. Unlike the Openhand approach which focuses on facilitation I'm afraid there's also a teacher(Guru)/student paradigm at play with does feel disempowering. Lots' of information to wade through in these auspicious times and, as you both well know, awakening is complicated landscape and very easy to get caught in those Eddie currents which Chris describes in the film. I'm grateful for the inconsitencies because I know they are leading me back to the personal responsibility of my own internal process.

Btw, I have introduced your "Five Gateways" film to everyone I thought might be interested. I even contacted a few almost acquaintences on Facebook who seemed to have influence and who I thought would benefit from your message. I feel very compelled to express appreciation for the type of guidance that openhand gives throughout the world on this site. I have been trying to understand why I am getting dark energy/entities attached in my field, and now it is much more clear that I can "protect" myself by processing the oposition rather than putting up resistance so to speak. In the past I would find myself putting up a "light wall" to repel dark energy, but this didn't feel like a right solution.
Identifying the internal receptors and becoming as nothing is right on.

On a different note: Do you think you might be open to a workshop/course in the United States?

Getting in there and confronting the darkness isn't always easy. It is wonderful that you are really looking at this. It has been (and is) and invaluable key in my journey.

Where are you located in the United States? If there is enough interest in a particular area we'd be happy to travel. The main issue is that everyone often feels quite spread out.

The old brain cranked into gear and the responses finally did register. It seems that it's ultimately a law of Attraction thing. Any charge or preconceived judgment about something has a good chance of drawing that thing or entity to me (especially as we move into quicker time space manifestation / ie. fourth dimension). And if there's a Karmic implication,then I'm not going to be able to avoid some type of learning experience no matter what preventive measures I take? Is that right ? My best bet is to focus on what I want to create instead of what I'm afraid of. So, if I encounter some hideous looking being who appears have malevolent intentions...a good strategy might be to smile and offer it a breath mint? lol

I'm so glad to have finally processed this very important point. I know that I do have some karmic issue with fear and what constitutes good and "bad" because, upon my awakening, I landed in an online community who's enormously charismatic and well informed figurehead has positioned herself as the heroine in a massively compelling galactic drama. She also dispenses planetary occult and otherwise complex information from a galactic authority which supports not only her storyline, but that of every potential "actor" in that drama who shows up at that website and chooses to participate in the plot. So they are all playing out their karmic drama together (presumably unknowingly ?). And I must have been drawn to that community because somewhere inside my subconscious I still hold judgment and think tha it's my job to be some type of starseeded savior ( which was the nature of the role bestowed upon me by the figurehead of that community through a private session in which she dispensed extensive information to me about my soul contract and obligations as a starseed)? And that experience emerged in my life because I agreed to defer to her knowing? Ok...well I changed my mind. Now that I've slapped some cold water on my face I realize that I actually do have a choice to override any BS "soul contract" (aka karmic lessions) because my learning from that experience has been processed. Lesson #1-) Develop the confidence to be my own Ascension guide. Lesson #2-) Do not allow others to impose roles (aka soul contracts) upon me. Lesson #3) "All fear is a test of how much we are identifying with the illusion". Can I get a high five? lol I consider myself VERY fortunate that I was able to glean your insights here and remove myself from that "reality" so that I am free to create a more harmonious nd joy filled one. The only "soul contract" one has is their karma, right? Are you guys aware how much channeled information there is out there with respect to "Starseeds"? Is there any validity to the proposition of starseeds at all? I guess these are among the MANY landminds that awakening people encounter? When the "veils of illusion" collapse we are VERY vulnerable in selecting our new realities? So how do we begin to envision create what we prefer so that we don't fall prey to someone elses vision for us and not trade in one matrix for another? I guess part of it is to put more emphasis on "right living" then ego entertainment of galactic soap opras. lol I hope others will benefit from reading my experience.

Just to come back to some of your realisations/questions...

Exactly! We cannot simply dump karma. It is our purpose for being here. Although I should say it is possible to off load it onto someone else for a period - that's what Opposing Consciousness have done with us - but you still form a limiting relationship to it.

Rather I'd say focus on what you are ALREADY creating right now. 'Want' is a lower mind human trait that has no place in divine acts of authentic creativity.

Yes I'd say you have it on the nail... you 'deferred you knowing' onto someone else. Fortunately you're now recovering your power - bravo!

There's a good deal of talk in spiritual circles about 'sacred contracts' and 'soul contracts'. Again I believe there is much distortion around this aspect. It's because they're being seen through a human filter of identity. You see the soul is not an identity, it is simply a flow of experience. And neither is the Seer an identity (from which the soul flows). So no one is pre-determining what you are here to do.

Rather it works by the Law of Attraction. Your karma draws towards you the 'key to unlock your door'. It's like magnestism, that which is lacking in yourself is drawn to yourself. You create mirrors (both negative and positive) to help you see the way back to wholeness.

But this is not engineered by some great God-like being. If that were so, who created such a being? It can all quite easily be explained by the inevitable emergence of separation consciousness from the source and the opposite reintegration with the source - unity consciousness.

Now as you (as a soul) switch allegiance from separation consciousness to unity consciousness something mystical, magical and profoundly powerful happens: you feel, witness and experience profound acts of synchronicity. It feels like a golden carpet is being laid before you - as magical as it is, it can simply be explained by you switching consciousness from the notion that everything is separate to the one that everything is connected.

Then it appears as though everything is predetermined. But it is not. Although there is a pull and a flow in the general direction of back to the source, and the flow causes you to bump into your karmic blockages that retard that journey, there is no fixed path, no 'contract' as such. Although your beingness will have particular and consistent effects as it unfolds.

In terms of starseeds, yes, there are souls that come here from all across the universe. They are drawn because the collective consciousness of humanity (largely unconsciously) sent out a frequency needing help. Plus because of the karmic mix of energies, the Law of Attraction was doing its work too. You might like to read one of our most popular threads on this subject here...Why are YOU here?

I just read the thread on Starseeds. It was very interesting. Thank you for directing me to it.

My hearts wish is to fully embody allegiance to unity consciousness. I've never had an actual experience of unity consciousness, but I must know it on some level because I have always maintained a service to others disposition. I gather that if I work with the suggestions outlined in The Five Gateways...and stop entertaining my mental body with galactic soap operas... that I could make more progress ;-)But if you have any tickets or inside info. on an express train to unity consciousness ...I'd pay the big bucks for em
