We live in a world of physicality, a place of goals, aspirations and creations. It's where we're invited to taste the ultimate paradox - the almost intangible essence of the divine, deeply diffused within the density. It's like sitting in an orchestra trying to listen to the quieter instruments like the flute when you're right next to the bass drum. Both are registered in the mind which plays its tricks of course, confusing the messages we're being given. We might feel a definite pull to do something which then doesn't seem to work out. How do we fathom what's going on when the ego can be so loud? It's all about finding the gift of beingness...

We're living in an illusion. But it's a very real illusion, a very noisy one. Our lives are full of busyness and external distraction like no other time in the history of mankind. It's as if everything created has been purposefully designed to pull us into the external drama, to tempt us, to invest us, to entrap us. The paradox is, that every external 'entertainment' is but a reflection, often quite a distorted one, of an end goal that each soul is really, ultimately looking for. It's a place of absolute perfection, crystal clear clarity. It is infinite potential yet absolutely empty. It is the beginning, the end, and everything in between. It is the Void of Silence...

St Francis, was an incarnated angel of compassion, and has had a special place in my heart throughout the aeons. When I immerse myself in nature, walking in the woods, he'll frequently appear. He'll transform into an earthly presence, as if breathed into being through the breath of the trees. We'll walk together, delighting in the vibrations of light as it flickers through the trees. Some will have a very obvious physical impact, whereas others have a different role. They see and feel the energy field to which humanity is connected. They have the inherent ability to bring their consciousness to bear in a particular situation, bring light into it and initiate realignment with the divine flow. These are the 'Energy Workers'...

When you look back on your life, the trials the tribulations, the challenges and opportunities, you'll probably notice the really big occasions hung finely balanced on the feather edge of uncertainty. On one side is the abyss of some indescribable failure, and the other, some seemingly monumental achievement. These moments invite something deeper of ourselves, something more complete, something more authentic. If we can face them with total acceptance and commitment, then we'll connect with the full flow of the soul and it will carry us through like an unstoppable wave. When I look back at these times in my life, I see that this level of surrender, this level of commitment, required something special:
