The Senses
Hi
I was wondering how other people have experienced their reawakening senses.
I suddenly realised this week that very gradually over the past few months my senses (all 6 of them) have been starting to connect and work together on a hitherto unexperienced scale. For instance when I'm feeling overwhelmed I quite often refer to it as 'my emotions are too bright to see clearly' because I am actually experiencing an emotion visually as well as emotionally.
My hearing is very connected to my sense of touch ...so I now listen to music almost through my skin ... but more than that I listen to music through all my other bodies too ...and am very aware I'm doing it. I can ride the sound waves on a vibrational level in a way I couldn't before. Harsh sounds physically hurt, add emotion into the sounds and I'm almost buzzing.
Taste and smell although always connected have now been joined by sight, so when I eat I'm experiencing colour. Sometimes the colour is in my head, other times it's actually physically there.
When I touch something I'm accutely aware of it's atomic makeup ... I know that sounds very strange but I can now connect with something like a plastic chair on a base level.
Multi-dimensional living to me always meant living between the dimensions of earth and everything above , ie the deceased, the angelic, the etheric at the same time ..in one moment. Now multi-dimensional living also means experiencing my senses all at once, emotion is actually emotion/sight/smell .... hearing is actually hearing/touch/sight .... touch is actually touch/empathy/core connection .... the variations change but I hope I'm explaining it properly as it's quite hard to put into words. Add the earthly/angelic realms into it and I'm surprised I can function as on paper it looks manic but I'm finding it all very natural and easy.
So I guess my next question is ...does anyone know what I'm whittering on about? Lol.
With Love

Turning up the volume
Hi Michelle,
(This thread is fine where it is)
Yes I know exactly what you're talking about and I frequently hear from other people on our courses and in coaching who are experiencing similar.
I experience that when we've stepped onto the path and are working with higher consciousness, unfolding who we are, then its as if we're opening up a wider channel of available information - its as if the 'volume is getting turned up'.
So for me for example, I don't just hear sounds but feel them. Not only that, but I feel as if the source of the sound is inside of me.
Likewise with vision, the intensity of colours becomes increasingly brilliant.
I find that we can all intensify the effect by focussing on each individual sense at a time and maximising the experience of that by going deeply into it. It's what we do in our "six senses walk" (on the "Way of the Heart" course).
If anyone is interested, you can read about the meditation here...

Beyond the senses
Thank you for the sharing Michelle. Sounds most fascinating.
Like Chris I experience sounds and the other senses from the depths of within myself. If I hear a bird it often feels as if I become that bird. I will experience the winds of a dipping swallow, the rush of water as it teases past a swan or the flapping wings of an outstretched kite. As I touch a tree it feels as if I melt into and become it having a multi-sensory experience, especially through the senses that are beyond the five primary ones.
The five senses are primarily third dimensional and offer a wonderful way of translating the world through this plane.
Through higher dimensional awareness we experience other 'senses' that require heightened sensitivity. They offer other ways of interpreting the universe, although it can get confusing if we try to make 'sense'of it (pardon the pun).
The thing I love about the six senses walk is that it provides an easy to follow process so that we may begin to apply this - it is within the grasp of everyone.
Re Senses
Thanks guys.
Yes it is difficult to explain isn't it. I totally understand the connection from within that you talk about, isn't if funny how I realised all of a sudden the other day how I've been feeling for a while. I love the 6 senses walk too, turns dog walking into so much more.
Thanks for your replies both of you, it's great to be able to share these things, and hear that other ppl on the courses have similar experiences.
With much Love
