The Truman show - what is really real?

Trinity Bourne's picture

I watched a film called the Truman Show years ago. It's about an ordinary guy living a happy life. The only difference is that since birth he is, unbeknownst to him, the star of a fly on the wall reality TV show. He has no idea that his home town is a giant studio set. Until one day he discovers something he shouldn't and desires to travel further afield. This is the ending of the movie...

In many ways it has striking parallels to the reality that we question in this world.

Remembering through movies

Trinity,

Great that you mention this movie, because indeed you can see the divine message in all creations almost 'screaming' at us to wake up from the dream of form. I'm often referring to this movie because whenever I notice I'm drowning or drifting to much into the world or fall into the mindtrap of what I would like to call 'my little me' I look into the sky and remember..to enjoy the dream......and this looking at the sky reminds me that I'm in my own Truman show.

For me the many Disney Pixar movies helped to 'speed up' my awakening and realisation that all is 'God is', a collapse of reality. Within myself I enjoy already the picture of all the other mothers who never had any spiritual interest, start to play a bit with the power of now teachings and suddenly watch all the movies with their kids with complete different eyes. My favourite in that sense is the cartoon Sinbad and the Seven seas. Complete synchronicity with the earths awakening and the book of peace, a path to enlightenment (found from within).

But then everything speaks differently at different moments for each and one of us. With stunning amazement I'm still experiencing, observing this infallible preciseness of the divine matrix, knowing that each moment is pefect.

Love Tamara
