The Unseen reveals its hand
So it's here. Something we've been talking about here at Openhand for quite some time. Global recession. Share prices dissolving, house values plummeting, economies contracting. Ever since the Titanic sank at the end of the Industrial Revolution, just as the Twin Trade Towers collapsed into dust, we've been warned about it. So as my house price crumbles, am I sitting in fear? No. This is meant to happen. This is perfection. The unseen is playing its hand. These are the times we've been waiting for...

Opposing Consciousness
Hard as it may be for some to believe, our society has been controlled for eons by an Opposing Consciousness acting through the matrix of mass human subconsciousness. They’ve shaped our evolution from the very earliest times.

This is a multi dimensional consciousness influencing from a higher realm of reality conditioning our attitudes and thoughts, distorting our emotions, creating false gods and illusionary dreams its conduits in this plain being some of the most rich and powerful. Their purpose is to gain control over our energy and the Earth’s natural resources. Just because its not politically correct to talk "conspiracy" doesn’t make it less real.

So invidious is this Opposing Consciousness that it pervades our whole society from the banks, to the Government, to the so called "health services" and the media. Yet we cannot see or feel it until we ourselves expand our consciousness into the higher realms. It is this energy which underpins material success, feeds the ego, would attach us to circumstance. It is this energy which I believe provoked JFK's famous speech shortly before he was assassinated...

Parting the "Red Sea"
The deceit of Opposing Consciousness has been written about in sacred texts over the centuries, it even appears in Genesis. When Moses parted the Red Sea, we were being told metaphorically of the 4th Dimension, the barrier between ourselves and the ‘promised land’ where our destiny dwells - a renewed earth in the 5th Dimension.

Well now, after all this time, help has arrived to part the Red Sea once more. The controlling systems that confine us are being collapsed and pathways within us are being opened into the higher realm. They say it gets darkest just before the dawn - well yes I can see its pretty dark outside, but I can just feel with every fibre of my being the divine flow of uplifting magic through it all, drawing us ever back to higher degrees of unity and oneness.

Benevolent Consciousness
Why should the divine help us in this way? After all, are not all life forms granted the universal law of free will? Isn’t even Opposing Consciousness of God? Well yes because God dwells in and through all things. Even Opposing Consciousness is formed of God.

It's when we become an identity that we experience ourselves as separate from the divine. This is what the Opposition have done. In manipulating and controlling our reality, they have in fact manipulated themselves too and thereby established separation from the natural evolutionary flow of the Universe.

They have stepped out of the flow creating an illusionary bubble held in place by desire, control and manifestation. It is this which humanity has been caught up in. Well now that bubble is bursting. The whole might of Benevolent Consciousness is moving against it, shaping a new experience of harmony, compassion and love.

Water may appear soft, its flow may be held at abeyance for a time, but even the hardest granite will eventually be washed away by it. Well, these times are now here. The systems that confine and constrain us are being washed away from the foundations upwards.

Big Brother
Of course Opposing Consciousness would like to keep those 'Big Brother' systems in place. It wants to exploit and control. That’s why they bailed out the financial markets, they need to keep the system growing, it wants us to be dependent and it won't give up easily.

In the coming times it will use all manner of deception to hold us invested in materiality. Spiritual texts that may appear benevolent will not be. Leaders apparently coming to help us will try to guide us into servitude. We will be asked to fight for our dwindling resources, invited to give up our freedoms in the interests of security.

So how are we to approach the situation? What would Benevolent Consciousness aligned with our higher selves do? I'm reminded of a great quote from the Buddha. Its about always following what's in our hearts...

"Do not believe anything
because it is said by an authority,
or if it is said to come from angels,
or from Gods, or from an inspired source.
Believe it only if you have explored it
in your own heart and mind and body
and found it to be true."

Trust in our ultimate victory
In the face of such systematic control, we may wonder how our liberation will come. Some will get angry and advocate rebellion. Others will try to manifest a new 'more desirable' reality. As I began writing this article, synchronistically text from another ancient manuscript came to my attention - the Tao Te Ching...

The Generals have a saying:
“Rather than make the first move
it is better to wait and see.
Rather than advance an inch,
it is better to retreat a yard.
When two great forces oppose each other
the victory will go
to the one that knows how to yield”

Opposing Consciousness has been allowed to expand into runaway global consumerism and by yielding consistently before it, it is being felled by its own success. Benevolent Consciousness didn’t do this. It stood by while it did it to itself! This was the master plan...

If you want to shrink something you must first allow it to expand
If you want to get rid of something you must first allow it to flourish

So let us fear not. Every cloud has a silver lining. If we can soften and yield in these difficult times by opening and surrendering inside whilst still standing in our truth, we will feel the way forwards and our destiny will succeed...

The Master leads
by emptying people’s minds and filling their cores,
by weakening their ambition and toughening their resolve.
She helps people loose everything they know, everything they desire,
and creates confusion in those who think they know.

The sweeping changes that are underway will break apart that which constrains us providing fertile ground for many more souls to flower into the light. To separate away that which really doesn't serve.

The Promised Land
So in these difficult times it may sometimes feel dark and disconnecting as fear rises around us. But let the energy of the times not build a wall between us and our sense of connection. Let us take heart, soften our desires but steel our resolve. The time is here where we are breaking apart the walls of constraint. These are the times we've been waiting for. In the famous last words of Martin Luther King, "We as a people will get to the promised land"...
