Today

Today.

Today I am.

Today I am meditating.

Today I am meditating while I live.

While I stack dishes, sort clothes, walk dogs, be with my children, wash the mud off the floor, I am meditating. Awareness is for the moment, the moment is today, the moment is how I feel with all 6 senses and then some.

Today is love, there's love in the rain, in the miridians of colours in the mud and drizzle, in the sound of the broom sweeping, in the work that I do.

Today is acceptance. Acceptance comes in great waves of realisation. Realisation and then self-forgiveness and unconditional love. Acceptance that I can only do what I am meant to do. Anything else is not needed or isn't for now.

Today I'm letting go. I'm letting go of pain, of the past, of patterns. In it's place comes love, the void filled with light. I'm letting go of the future, it was never mine to hold in the 1st place. The future is now.

The future is today.

So today I am meditating while I live.

With love
Michelle

Today I am meditating

Hi Michelle,

I really enjoyed reading your inspiring poetic sharing.

It speaks volumes to me of living at one with the divine flow and allowing your reason for being here to simply 'be'.

Ahhh... life as a moving meditation. You speak my language! This is a wonderful reminder to stay in the 'flow' and remain in conscious awareness in every single moment (whether it be changing the nappy, emptying the rubbish out, or singing with all your heart!).

Today I am letting go

Yesterday I was frazzled! Everything seemed to snowball on my lap. But then something miraculous happened! I read your mail last night and felt renewed.

Here's how I begin my day today.
"Today is a brand new day and I am letting go!
Today is love
Today is acceptance
Today I give thanks for all my blessings"

Thank you for beaming your light all the way over here Michelle.

Beaming light back to ya!
Sam

Go for it!!!

Hi Michelle,

What a wonderful example to us all! Thankyou for your sharing - I'm sure it'll inspire many. It reminds me of the lyrics in the Alanis Morisette song we've got listed on the website - "thanku"

How about getting off of these antibiotics
How about stopping eating when I'm filled up
How about them transparent dangling carrots
How about that ever elusive kudo

    Thank you India
    Thank you terror
    Thank you disillusionment
    Thank you frailty
    Thank you consequence
    Thank you thank you silence

How about me not blaming you for everything
How about me enjoying the moment for once
How about how good it feels to finally forgive you
How about grieving it all one at a time

    Thank you India
    Thank you terror
    Thank you disillusionment
    Thank you frailty
    Thank you consequence
    Thank you thank you silence

The moment I let go of it was
The moment I got more than I could handle
The moment I jumped off of it was
    The moment I touched down

How about no longer being masochistic
    How about remembering your divinity
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out
How about not equating death with stopping

    Thank you India
    Thank you providence
    Thank you disillusionment
    Thank you nothingness
    Thank you clarity
    Thank you thank you silence

Re Today

Aww thank you so much Sam for your lovely reply. I'm so glad it helped. I'd sat down to share another experience with you all but this thread just flowed out. I guess it was just meant to be. I love your mantra! I hope you don't mind if I borrow it, it's the perfect way to start a new day. Smiling

Thanks Trin and Chris, without your love I wouldn't be in a place to recognise the beauty of today.

The moment I let go of it was
The moment I got more than I could handle
The moment I jumped off of it was
The moment I touched down

Chris I too love that song, but I'm discovering if I just let go I actually can handle far more than I ever expected.

It's still today...

That's awesome isn't it! It's ironic that we cannot discover such things until we let go and trust.

Your words to us are also very kind! I feel blessed to share with you during these momentous times along your journey.

Love and hugs

Thank you today.

The video is phenominal! Alanis is totally showing her soul. It must take great courage to sing as she does. Her nakedness represents her standing back from all the crap and being completely real.

Thank you everyone
Thank you everything
