This quote touches something deep within every time I read it. It’s a brilliant metaphor...

It’s easy to look good, to ‘shine’ and ‘sparkle’, when the sun is out; when everything around us is light, spacious, supportive and kind. It’s easy when someone around us upholds the energy. When other people are happy, it often makes us feel happy too. We ride on the wave. There is nothing wrong with this at all. It can feel quite divine bathing in the sun... especially if the ‘sun’ inspires us to find the sun within ourselves. The true test, is what happens when night falls.

True inner beauty, just like the stained glass windows, is only really revealed when we shine from the inside, from the core.
