"Walking on water"

Is it possible to live every moment as a miracle?
It seems we are constantly reminded these days that the universe we think is real is merely an illusion that is shaped by our consciousness; that matter is not really matter at all but a vibrating wave of energy that arises out of the background field of consciousness when we bring our attention to something. So how might we use this expanded awareness to bring more magic to our lives?

Although (at least in my truth) it is absolutely true to say that we shape our reality according to our beliefs about that reality, it is not as simple as trying to change our thoughts in order to change the nature of the fabric of life. In order to really achieve that, we would have to believe it through every cell of our being...

Here then lies our "problem". We are each a being of light encasing a physical body. No amount of mental projection, intention or "reframing" is going to convince the body it is anything other than a physical body acting within a physical realm of particular limitations. And at the same time, neither are we confined to this singular physical realm of existence.

There is an overlapping world of causality that is continually at work behind the scenes providing for each of us a path back to the ocean of oneness from which we came. That pathway yields itself in the magical synchronicity prevalent through all circumstances and events when we care to notice.

If we continually observe and follow this unfolding pathway of light, one day it suddenly dawns that we are engaging with a multifaceted, multi dimensional frame of existence far deeper and wider than our limited physical perspective and we can attune to that expanded reality simply by walking our path.

As we walk forwards guided by a pull from the heart, sometimes it may appear as if the direction in which we are headed is an impossible one and yet if we continue to trust and follow right action in the moment, then we discover that magically, somehow, we find it within ourselves to complete the next step and the next and the next and so on. It feels like we are 'walking on water'...

"If we keep following our path
of right action across the river of life,
no matter how improbable it may seem,
we will know in our hearts that we are
capable of fulfilling the next step.
If we continue forwards, then somehow,
that as yet undiscovered stepping stone
will magically appear to support us
    at exactly the right moment.
However, if we start by trying to walk on water,
    we'll quickly discover that's impossible!"

Whilst the physical practice of walking on water may not be possible, sometimes walking the steps of right action through this world is no less miraculous. Why not give it a try?

May you walk majestically across the water of life!
