Life School P.H.D.

Life presents, tough lessons to learn
Not one can prepare, when it’s their turn
Experiences are given, as an assignment
Fine-tune our perceptions, and realignment

Faith, hope and choice, our only supplies
Deciding a fate, and may compromise
Choosing a path, we think is best
Expecting an outcome, of a test

Success or failure, the results are given
Really not thinking, this was the vision
I learned this before, why did I fail
I thought I mastered, this long told tale

Chapter after chapter, an ongoing process
Living and learning, a grade in progress
No teacher, preacher, pier or bloodline
Can teach someone, experience divine
Open the book know, for certainty
We are earning a Life School P.H.D.

How true. Nothing exists that can teach someone to experience the unteachable divine.

Each new moment in life offers a signpost, a doorway to an ever expanding awareness back to the truth of who we are. Openhand always seems to fully embrace that fact, which is why this community resonates with us so.

Although words fail my articulation of expressing 'why I am here' my purpose in life appears to be to align my'self' with the flow back to ever an increasing harmony with the divine flow of the universe.
