    Translation:
    Almighty Freedom
    Almighty freer of the soul
    Be free
    Walk with me
    Through the golden fields
    So lovely
    Lovely

    We regret our sins, but...
We sew our own fate and
Under my face I remain feeble
    Under my face, I smile

    Aaahh)

    Even alone/afraid
Under my face I will be waiting

Run with me now soldier of Rome
Run and play in the field with the ponies
Run with me now soldier of Rome
Run and play in the field with the ponies
Run with me now soldier of Rome
Run and play in the field with the ponies
Run with me now soldier of Rome
Run and play in the field with the ponies

    Almighty Freedom
    Almighty freeer of the soul
    Be free
    Be free
    And imagine
    Free with peace at last
    It's lovely
    It's lovely, this land
No one can believe or understand
How far I came just for my lovely family
    I should have been there
with them when the world crashed down
But now they rest with me.

    I'll never forget
    How I felt that moment
    I became free.

questioning translation?

How is it possible that this even has a translation when Lisa Gerrard made up the lyrics?? Unless she was speaking Hebrew without knowing it?

Beyond the mind

Ever had a feeling that came from beyond the mind?
Ever found that sometimes words are imperfect to articulate these feelings?
Whatever language we speak in, the invitation is always to transcend their meaning and feel them in the heart.

Whether English, Hebrew or gobbledegook, we play this music frequently on our courses and find it really opens people up.
They touch something deep within.

That's good enough for me!

that she has developed since she was twelve.
It has nothing to do with Hebrew/English as you state.
This may be your "interpretation" but it certainly isn't a translation.
She is 'talking in tongues'.

By calling it a translation you are in breach of copyright.

And the words you have 'interpreted' are nowhere near as artistic, fluid, meaningful and imaginitive as the artists original.

Let it stay as it is.

Talking in Tongues

Thanks so much for your explanation Johnny.

As I said in my previous post...

Whatever language we speak in, whether English, Hebrew or gobbledegook, the invitation is always to transcend their meaning and feel them in the heart.

To me, Talking in Tongues happens exactly because we are coming from the heart instead of the mind.

Chris

Talking in Tongues

No-one is debating where talking in tongues comes from.

The point is your piece of 'interpretation' does no credit to an already fine piece of art, and what you have done that is totally wrong is call it a translation.

Hi Johnny, Thanks for your

Hi Johnny,

Thanks for your kind words of advice.
As you may notice, we've now changed the title to...

"Now we are free (theme from Gladiator a subjective translation) Lisa Gerrard"

I trust this may pacify you.

With love
