For a while I have considered both Trump and Musk to be of the same loose cannon energy; they both have hugely impactful passions and the power to realise them but are also both very distorted: their way is the only way. However, from their own viewpoint they do seem to believe they have the best interests of the world as motivation... it's just that 'the world' in their context is whatever serves them best personally, power consolidation leads to more control and that's what it's all about, right?! From a narcistic viewpoint these people don't believe, but know that their ideas are the best.

A while ago I saw a fascinating segment of an interview with Musk where he passionately explains how Neuralink is going to contribute massively to the interconnectivity of the human race and the interviewer asks him: and why is that important to you? He struggles with his words for a long time and comes up with a completely nonsensical response, combined with how his demeanor changes you can clearly see that he has never asked himself that question. Driven by raptor conscience, don't stop just keep going forward. Money, go for it.

Trump also seems to have many questions he never asked himself. A good lesson in how raptor conscience can drive singleminded people and how the world today rewards them with power. Together with all the other billionaires and whatnot they aren't even trying to hide their selfserving agenda's anymore, sure describing it with gradeschool linguistical acrobatics but more and more people see the writing on the wall.
