The message about John's passing I have met a bit emotionally, it naturally felt like the family member leaving this world. He was (and still is) one of our soul family members here at Openhand. The star of his spirit will shine upon us and we'll keep the warm memory of him in our hearts.

Most of us know him as a strong, tireless warrior. He was travelling the world lately to join Openhand groups in many terrestrial retreats. Wherever we were going out to do the energy work on the grounds, despite his physical challenges of the body he was always the part of the group and we've never heard him saying "I can't make it" or "this hill is too high for me to climb".

And sometimes my camera lens was stopping intuitively at his appearance to catch the moment when he was just quietly being within himself.

What do we leave after ourselves in this world? The universe once responded to this my question: Leave nothing but your footprints. That's what John has left - the footprints of his inner work in the memory of Openhand community.

May this wonderful soul easy find its way home.

With love

Asya
