No I

Thank you, Open, this is wonderfully described, and a knowledge I've long held too. The dissolution of the 'world' in these ways is not something many people know about or can cope with, but the knowledge of what's to come is a powerful elixir for awakening.
There is one burning question that has never left me, which seems akin to finding the ultimate meaning of life. It's around the notion of a 'self', irrespective of how lowly or evolved it may be, and the Buddhist and Christian sense of 'no I', or shedding everything to become an empty vessel to be filled with God only.
Is this just a method to awaken, or is it true that no self exists? In my direct experience there is indeed no self, and ultimately no soul either, at least not one apart from God (or whichever term one feels to apply to the unnamable)
If you could offer some clarity around this question, that may also be helpful for others, I'd be so very grateful.
Only love, Dale
