This week, if you were wondering why things might be a little quieter on the website than usual, it's because we're holding our annual "Transfiguration" course here at the Earth Spirit Centre in the heart of the rolling Somerset countryside. We have a wonderful group of 20 kindred spirits, courageously confronting and exploring the veils that limit, then breaking them apart and unleashing a new majesty of being. It's always been a powerful course and this year has certainly so far been no exception. Here's a taster of the work we've been doing...

To trust or not to trust?
Do you trust that if you do exactly what your soul is guiding you to do, you'll be in exactly the right place at the right time and get exactly what you need to be who you truly are? Do you trust enough to do what you are 'meant' to do?

The world is in pretty uncertain times. If we look throughout history, we've undergone huge transition periods through different eras.
Unthinkable things have caught unsuspecting people off guard, heart-wrenching their lives. Throughout the ages, royalty has been overthrown, good men, women and children have been enslaved, currency rendered useless, war, disease and famine have wreaked havoc. This list is endless. What makes us so different now?...

It's all because of the economy.
For quite some time now the powers-that-be in the USA have been angling for an expansion of their invasionist tactics in the Middle East. Some say it's about securing dwindling oil reserves, but it actually goes much deeper than that. It's all about the failing strength of the US economy, underpinning the weakening 'petro-dollar' and above all, maintaining home land grip on power, which is fast slipping from final-straw finger tips. Why should the awakening movement be interested? Well not least because it could lead to World War Three! But most importantly, it shows that our consciousness expansion is breaking the stranglehold of the old fear based reality. Make no mistake, this is a crucial juncture. The world teeters on the brink of a chaotic abyss. We must focus all our efforts now to bring a peaceful transition to more sustainable community living...

A great deal is spoken of in spiritual texts and musings about the Chakras and exactly what their purpose is. Here at Openhand, we view them as 'consciousness exchange points' where Unity Consciousness as the soul infuses with Separation Consciousness as the bodymind. Our lives are greatly affected and influenced by our relative level of vibration within these crucial consciousness centres. Understanding and exploring them will have a profoundly beneficial impact.
