You asked about what has been this recently observed hesitant connection between Gaia and Avalonia? That which has caused a delaying situation for Gaia's full withdrawal.

What we experienced in the Facilitator Conference was Gaia hanging onto the old Earth situation a degree, and there being some remorse about the situation - regret about not fulfilling her percieved role. You could imagine it this way: Consider when a human relationship comes to an end, where it's clear it has to happen and there's a commitment to moving forwards to separation. But once you begin the journey, all kinds of feelings emerge that were buried - like the sense of nostalgia, for example - cherishing the good parts of what was. This can easily cause a continued attachment and hesitancy from moving on.

Meanwhile, Avalonia has been getting on with the job of integrating greater coherency and strengthening in her core role - so there'd not been much connection between her and Gaia. This is what we felt we needed to facilitate, and seemed to work pretty well. Gaia seemed comforted by it.
