I love your story about the guy getting up on stage and playing the fool. It reflects an important lesson about not controlling your expression.

However, it's also important to see it more as a metaphor - what do I mean?

If you're prepared to "play the fool", it means more that you're prepared to step out of your comfort zone - to test the boundaries on how you're previously been in a given situation. It's about daring to be more of your true, authentic self. If there's a new quality you can feel, then experiment with that - give it space to express, without worrying about the outcome.

But, having said that, you're still building on something that's already actualised. You're not necessarily casting everything to the wind.
