This is an extremely illuminating experience you had there Nikki. I encourage all to read and reflect.

Ra is a field energy of deception and subtle suppression, pulling people from the Shift, by creating doubt or diversion within them.

And it's rife in spiritual communities, including this one, that the entity will try various underhand ways to pull people away. Or break the coherency of the community.

Gaslighting is classic: "I'm pulling away, because of this or that". Often because the person does not own, or is not prepared to deal with, their own triggering. Instead, there's the implication "you don't have to go there". 'Victims' are created, and manipulated, whereby others are lulled into that misperception, and so take sides. I've seen this often. It breaks the community apart. It's currently happening in many communities.

What happens through the connections with those who are often inadvertently gaslighting, is the Ra energy embeds in their field, because they haven't yet been committed to fully infusing through all their chakras - especially the lower ones.

The energy (of Ra) attaches to carriers, and so when you connect with them, but refuse to go with the subtle misdirection, then the energy will emerge from them, and into your field, to try to shut you down, or else create a 'binded-emotionality' - pulling you into the drama (the carrier is not even necessarily aware they're doing it). But if you're energetically aware of the energy coming in on the blind side (as you were Nikki), then it's essential to pull away from the connection, and work to open out through the chakras, so as to cleanse the intervention away.

I've seen this frequently throughout the Openhand journey here. Sometimes the community cracks open. It's one of the reasons why we reformed the community as an Academy. The approach is that you're not belonging to something - you're belonging only to yourself and your own journey. Which the Academy then supports, as and when you choose to engage.

It makes us more resilient, because it encourages individual sovereignty of being - forming your own opinions about the landscape, rather than being seduced by others, who haven't necessarily fully integrated through all the chakras yet. There will still be ructions and 'explosions' from time to time, but as more people own their own journey, they'll come to see through this 'bushwhacking', because they'll make their own minds up. That's the emotional maturity we're coming to.

To be clear: an ascending person does not follow, nor abandon, a particular approach or pathway because someone else does - "Because my friend does". That's quite an immature level of consciousness and evolution. You follow a pathway that is uniquely yours, because it feels right in your soul, as opposed to reactive emotionality.

The Academy is here to support people willing to take that level of personal responsibility for their journey.
