This is right on Nikki...

Today, with all of these explorations going on, I realised how grateful I am that my friend pulled away because they did me the biggest favour imaginable. I don’t need an emotional crutch and I don’t need an external mast - I am my own mast in the storm!

Yes, we've got to be prepared to kick away that emotional crutch, that supports people 'when they need it'. When actually, what's really needed, is to sit in the discomfort and process through. That way, we can dissociate from the emotional body. Then the emotions become our tool, rather than us being owned by them.

This inner integration is far from easy - if it were, everyone would be doing it. But that's the only way to deep coherency of being.
