It’s a good article. Simple yet profound. Self-acceptance is not static. Indeed, it’s a bottomless well. Each situation provides an opportunity to find it. I recall a couple of times I had simply lain down on the bed in an afternoon—something the mind would label as lazy and unproductive—but I allowed myself to feel into the tightness it had generated within. It opened into beautiful expansive states and profound self-acceptance. If I had not allowed myself to experience that, I would have missed that opportunity.

But I also like expressing myself and working through the challenging confrontation it produces. Because how can we say we have found self-acceptance without accepting ourselves in deeply challenging circumstances?
