So, you brought up something really cool, namely that we perceive energy differently, depending on our sensitivity. Most people are visual, some are more tactile, others will feel things more through inner knowing. I find that very interesting.

Bunch of stuff is recently stirring within people and just what you mentioned in your post carries such an abundance for a potential exploration: being put in a corner (By whom? For what?). Someone is coming to get you (Who? Why?); the concept of a battle and an armour. My goodness! It just amazes me how much awareness is there waking up in all of us all around! Yay! I remember myself asking just few years ago "what is all this karma business all about?". Hahaha
