HI Keith - you articulate a common feeling amongst evolving people - guilt or non acceptance that it might only be a few who are ascending.

Each soul is on an individual path - although we also travel together in groups. Some are ready for the intense inner inquiry necessary, whilst others are only just waking up. That's no judgment, it just is.

There's no short cutting the inner journey leading to Enlightenment and Ascension - and just because there's a wave of souls waking up and motivating others, still doesn't remove the inner work each has to do. This is the forging of unique and indiviual soul - to me it is to be celebrated.
