During the retreat in Jordan, the group felt the strong movement of magma in the Aegean, under the ocean. Although we couldn't pinpoint where exactly, the Campi Flegrei supervolcano near Naples in Italy, is triggered by the movement of magma under the ocean. It could have been what we were feeling.

Although a long way from Jordan, it's all interconnected by building pressure through interconnected tectonic plates - the African, Arabian, and Anatoly, for example.
