Hannah this is a very powerful inquiry and I encourage all to explore - it's really about how thought-based or emotional beliefs override the deep rooted state of intrinsic "belief".

You said...
In another post you said "You have every right to exist. You have every right to be here as a being. You have every right to thrive as a soul". Mentally I completely get that the fact that I exist must mean I have the right to be here, yet when I deeply contemplate the statements I feel overlays of dis-belief and grief. I tend to override deeper layers of distortion around those statements

Right from the beginning of one's life, those around you, especially and including parents, tend to inculcate their children with beliefs about who or what they are. However in this case, I feel like its some kind of spiritual programming you're confronting - the "I am" belief for example. Spiritual establishments around Ra, for example, build on these subtle inner identity layers and exploit them. But ultimately this kind of mental/emotional belief will fail - just as all types of identity will fail. This is something I covered in depth in the book Resurrection.

It's also why affirmations ultimately fail. Does a crow need an affirmation to be a crow? No, of course not. It just is.

The beauty of having a (human) mind, is that it can self-reflect. But this gift is a burden too - because it often creates identity around a belief about itself. Rather than just sinking back into being.

So the key is to break through all these mental/emotional concepts. Which takes a good deal of commitment and work - but can be done, and is most worthwhile undertaking - because with it comes deep peace and sense of establishment.

I sense you're breaking into the base chakra - and embedded mental existential beliefs/doubts that are preventing you fully sinking into that establishment of self. How to work? Keep testing the belief mechanisms. Keep allowing the grief. Keep surrendering into the moment. Being in the moment is crucial. Work to just be, in any given moment, then gently watch what reflections come back to you. Let this sense of establishment here, become the prevalent mechanism of anchoring.

Well wishes
