Hello, my name is Vimal. Like many awakening souls, I grew up in a “normal” environment, playing the roles of son, brother, student, and so on. A deep desire to belong kept me in those circles, but to fit in, I had to hide parts of myself and only express what was acceptable.
Then, out of the blue, I experienced a shift in consciousness and began asking the real questions: What am I? What is my mission and purpose?
Many of you know me by virtue of my long association with Openhand and my varied support roles at our worldwide events and those through the etheric space of the internet. I am now embracing my “Elder” status in life, and choosing to move aside from core admin duties within Openhand. It feels right to utilise this extra freedom to be more available to offer Facilitation.
I am many things. I have in this life been a daughter, a student, a physician, a healer, a shaman, a farmer, a writer, an activist, a channel, a mom, and a meditator. Right now, I am endeavouring to simply be the One that Is within the beguiling Maya that is life on planet Earth.
I am Isis, the Queen
And I am the little urchin abused on the street
I am the flower aching to open
And I am the dying tree
I am the Light of love
And the Darkness of rage
I am the foolish Joker
And I am the Sage
Life is one big miracle. For as long as I can remember, I had the thought "I have to go where people need help", until I suddenly found myself in the middle of Africa.
While working for a humanitarian organisation in South Sudan in 2015, I became very aware that the world was not as I had previously assumed from Europe. As if a switch had been flipped inside me, I began to look critically at the functions and background of my society as well as my own life.
I am the dancer between the stars.
I am the spark to catalyse transformation.
I am the gentle softness to hold you through your healing process.
I am a weaver of realities, creating and dissolving and creating anew.
I am a sovereign soul and my purpose is to build a bridge between this reality and the next, so that all souls may find their path to the ever higher levels of harmony.
