Our hearts and meditations go out to everyone affected by the recent storms in the USA, Europe, and in Asia - biblical weather is now hitting regions across the world every day. We feel for you out there and send our love. How earth shattering it can be, to suddenly lose your home, your way of life and things that you might treasure. Yet for those who truly believe in a more expanded, equitable and divinely connected higher dimensional reality, then maybe we can explore such events as powerful mirrors, to begin to live the higher truth here and now; especially since the progressive transformation of our biosphere is going to increasingly affect us all.

The spiritual warrior in us must now find the eye of the storm in this Great 5D Shift, and ride the waves that follow...

Yet again summer has been dry as a bone in much of Europe, igniting wild fires in France, Portugal and Spain, forcing thousands to flee, as in the popular holiday destination of Saint Tropez. And in California, record-breaking heat and fierce Santa Ana winds have caused thousands to flee their homes. As in many other places around the globe, the weather is becoming nothing short of biblical. As strange as it may at first sound, and whilst feeling deep love and empathy for those affected, how can spiritual people turn these drastic events into a positive?

What can we learn?

According to NASA scientistis, Antarctica is now melting 6 times faster in summer months than in the 1980s. I find this deeply significant in the Great 5D Shift - only a couple of years ago, plenty in the spiritual mainstream were pointing to the growth in Antarctic Ice to deny that Climate Change was warming the planet. I know this is 'inconvenient'. I know it's not the kind of thing you necessarily want to read about. But, as evolving people, I believe it's utterly essential to take note. We must attain higher dimensional consciousness by transcending the lower ones - we can do it, but to do so, we must equalise and normalise with exactly what is unfolding...

With escalating regularity a factual event now occurs in the world that shocks you awake. Like the fact that society is now consuming over 1 million plastic bottles per minute. Yes, just digest that for one moment before moving on. By 2021, that'll amount to half a trillion bottles per year - are such figures even comprehendable by the human mind? Well put it this way, at this rate, by 2050, the ocean will contain more plastic bottles than fish! Where is this all heading? What's the wider message about the society we're living in? What's the REAL solution to this insanity? Only a spiritual shift in consciousness can save mankind now...

We're living in two worlds not one. There's the old crumbling 3D karmic reality and a pristine shiny new 5D one, steadily emerging from the dross of the old. But you're still here for now, a while longer, rummaging through the rubble, digging up those priceless buried fragments of soul gold. Don't worry, it just got a whole lot easier. Whereas humanity has previously been blinded from the sun, now the shadow side has come clearly into view. And how strong it is, just in case anyone might miss it. Here is the incredible opportunity to separate yourself from the shadow, to ascend into your golden self...

"The World is careering towards an environment never experienced before by Humans." So says the latest "state of the climate" report, led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Noaa) with input from hundreds of scientists from 62 countries, which confirmed there was a "toppling of several symbolic mileposts" in heat, sea level rise and extreme weather in 2015. I know it's not 'spiritually sexy' to talk about this stuff, and it's a hell of an inconvenient truth to process through your consciousness. Nevertheless it needs to be done. Because the 5D Shift can only happen for you by processing through the layers of inner truth. We have to be in reality in order to transcend it...

Essentially, the journey here is all about getting into your karma and processing it. That's what brought you here, that's the learning, evolving experience your soul is seeking to grow through. You have to get out of the mind to access your karma. You have to go through the plane of the emotions and beyond the intellect. Then you can expand into the causal body where karma is held. Stories and parable used to be a popular means of touching such source pain and activating it that it may be healed. Now we have the movies. I was particularly touched recently by the latest Star Trek movie, appropriately titled "Beyond". It's certain to me, the writers accessed a fantastical story that may well have some ancient threads of truth...

According to the UN, a record 65 million people worldwide have been forced to flee their homes in 2015. It amounted to 24 people displaced every minute. The UN said 'if considered a nation, it would make the 21st largest in the world'. There are many reasons given, but to us here at Openhand, underlying it is only one: the inexorable scrabble for a dwindling supply of global resources, generating war, poverty and irreversible abrupt climate change. We must acknowledge the truth in this. I believe we are witnessing merely the tip of a very large Ice berg. Like the Titanic, society is holed below the water line and sinking fast. What can we do? As always, the Openhand Approach is to confront the inconvenient truth, deal with it internally, expand into ones cosmic self - then to act positively with universally aligned "Right Action"...

Something truly shocking is happening around the world, right under our very noses. It's the unprecedented global marine creature die-off. Although occasionally reported in the mainstream media, it's accelerating at a phenomenal rate. Here below I've listed 33 reports of mass die-offs in just the last month alone. In compiling the list, I found it literally heart rending. But I also know that only the truth can truly set people free. And so I think it's vital to share. Life is constantly changing and moving on. It's important to all consciously evolving people to have an accurate sense of how the shift into the 5D is actually affecting the world. It means your consciousness softens to the impact and readies you to let go even deeper. It is for that reason that I share...

It's great for people to be able to see the world's dwindling wildlife up close. But when it comes to imprisoning sentient creatures in zoos and acquariums, is it really worth the cost to consciousness? How much do creatures suffer when deprived of their natural freedom? How would we like to be imprisoned? Well here's a creature that voted with his tentacles. Inky the Octopus made a daring escape from his acquarium when the lid to his tank was left slightly ajar. He made light of 'foot', skidaddled down a drainage pipe, and back into the expansive freedom of the ocean - right where he belongs. Yihah!

Maca for the Spiritual Journey

Most of us don't find the spiritual journey easy. Personal, spiritual growth involves confrontation of who we truly are, breaking down of the old realities that not longer 'serve' us. It can push us through and beyond limits that we never even thought possible. Yet here we are - getting on with it. It's essential that we take care of ourselves on this journey. For me one of the most supportive foods I've ever found is maca! It's one of natures few true adaptogens - which means that it has the power to help us cope, adapt and thrive in the most challenging of times.

I recently came across a profound poem, gifted by an Openhander, which shares an incredible exploration of reality, as seen from an angelic perspective. What exactly are angels? How are they helping transmute 3rd Density into 5th?
