Great points Lyra... yes, I'm sure plenty don't comment because as you say,

I do find that when there's an expectation, even just in the back of the mind on how joy needs to be expressed or perceived, then it can dim the light and greatly constricts the energy flow. The lower mind likes to build attachment and identity, where it feels safe.

Can you imagine what it's like to be touring the UK, hundreds of miles of matrix in lockdown, doing energy work AND having to film that in the moment, AND then subsequently editing it (all usually within one day)? I'd actually much rather not be doing it - just enjoying the energy itself. Except this is sense of purpose - something that's given to share. I can't tell you how many rough inner edges I've confronted through that process - getting the perfect set up of the equipment - light, focus, etc etc - the camera battery running out in the middle of a take, whether or not to use a sound device that takes extra time to set up; what is that person doing or that dog or that car? Until you realise it is ALL interrelated, and ALL the flow. Every single nuance of it. So then life becomes flowing expression, through everything, which if we resist, we only resist and limit ourselves.

What I've found through the years, is that by simply allowing the expression to flow, in whatever medium that wants to arise in, then it presents the perfect opportunity to confront inner resistances. What could be better?

Blessings

To me it clearly feels like there are two energies vying in the field right now trying to sway the direction of people's live's within society. What better music to share than a track from the highly alchemical Lord of the Rings,
"May it be an evening star shines down upon you..."

A yet to be released song by the wonderful Meg Myers, one of my favorite artists.

I wonder how many starseeds like her are in the music industry?

Enjoy...

In today's new look Daily Journal Update, I'm looking at breaking down yesterday's out-dated reality construct so as to create space for a new sense of beingness to come through, which creates an exciting new reality....

Here's an old Openhand favourite song that captures the essence of that perfectly. It's from the marvellous film "Point Break" (the new version)...

Any electronic music lover here? I don't see them getting posted much but I absolutely love them myself :)

Here is a Drum n'Bass track by Koven... I find this combination of beautiful vocal, energetic beat and deep bass line mesmerizing to listen to. And here she's singing about finally daring to feel the nerves in stead of choosing to stay comfortably numb...Something that resonates in me too.

On Openhandweb today we're looking at how unleashing the Universal Toroidal Flow within us can help us live a fulfilling and successful life. It's recognising your interconnection with the "Flower of Life" by setting the flow in you free. The lead article is here...

5D Shift: How to Align yourself with the Universal Torus Flow in Daily Life

Here's a wonderful video from Mumford and Sons featuring the actor Idris Elba, which to me, conveys the activation of the flower of life so well. To me it reflects someone coming from the disconnected state and then deleriously rediscovering the true nature of life as a flow within. Enjoy...

I'm finding this lady Mei-lan totally captivating at this time. We stand in the shadow of dark times, yet that's just when the workers of light step forwards and make themselves known. The time has come for worldwide breakthrough..

Here is one by Chester Bennington that split my heart wide open this morning, especially with what is going on in the US right now. As a word of warning parts of the video are dark and triggering.

Then driving to work I hopped out of my car to move a turtle that was in the middle of a busy two lane road - but got there too late - he’d already been hit. 💔 The metaphor was viscerally clear though - this is no time to stay in our shell.

Dear Open,

I would like to share my New EP of Solo Piano Songs. It's really a portrait of some of the inner feelings that Star Souls living on Planet Earth can find themselves working through. I'm hoping others in the Open Hand Family will be able to relate to it, hence my posting the link here: https://raisingthesoul.bandcamp.com/releases

Please feel free to listen for free and/ or support the EP. Music is one of my main ways to reach out and communicate with the world so I'd love to have others feedback.

I include the original EP description notes: I feel if I should share anything, I should share this. What does it feel like to be Human at this time? These Four Songs tell a story, a story of inner feelings towards Humanity, both in being one myself, and in sharing a planet with other humans. Through the story I hope you will find some beauty and hope, but be warned, for there is also the fire of anger and the despondency of hopelessness. Where are we going? What are we we doing? What's going on? Will we make it through to the other side?

Peace

Paul

I have always loved the sentiment in 'Don't Dream It's Over' - 'they come... to build a wall between us... we know they won't win'.
And to further this sentiment, 'Walls Come Tumbling Down' by The Style Council seems incredibly appropriate right now - a strong call to action for us all. I also love to dance around to their other hit, 'Shout to the Top' - really uplifting when you wake in a funk and need to dance around to shake yourself out of it!!

Felt compelled to share this beautiful song. I hope it feels you all with as much love and truth as it does me.

I happened upon this song on an album I haven't listened to in years and couldn't believe the appropriate nature of these lyrics for right NOW - a reminder + call to action indeed!

This is the music that is playing in loop for me. I often feel like a compete alien and so it reminds me of what I came here to do.

If you're feeling the understandable challenges of Lockdown at times, then know that you're not alone, and it's okay to hurt sometimes. Let's always honour our feelings. That way we can move quickly through.

Here's a masterful performance from REM to help you...

My eyes are wide open I see you clear My toes touch the floor Our world has been shaking on Oh what's your soul saying? Oh is your world changing? Your face tells me always Things your mouth often spares And I hope you know I'll do what it takes To bring joy into your day Oh what's your soul saying? Oh is your world changing?
